This is a spot on the Delaware River noted for its eagles, but this bird looks more like a turkey vulture to me. Any other opinions? I was just happy to get it in focus.

Looks, like a vulture to me. Wings are too deep a V for an eagle. Also, the white on the bottom of the wings.

Actually, if we looked long and hard enough I imagine we could find a fungus on the vultures' wings!

Nicole, didn't know that you were in my backyard this morning. Your doe looks exactly like the one nibbling on my lilies this morning and that is how she looked at me when I tapped on the window and just went back to nibbling.

This is one of the few that have managed to escape the deer and the rabbit who seems to enjoy them too.

Caught this shot of a Bald Eagle in Kodiak, Alaska. It was pouring rain and he was wet and dirty. One of the few camera shots that day that didn't have rain smeared across the lens.

A little research revealed it may be a Red Acacia tree.
