Is the Araucaria really as big as it looks? Judging by the person nearby, I think the trunk is too big to reach around! Must be an overall nice spot, the boats bobbing in the harbour, parks and flower beds...... our snow from Tuesday is finally melting here. Next week I hope to get the last crocus planted. Here's the tulip patch three years ago. I was also looking at pictures from greener times.

I am protesting this post! the subject line is such a teaser and the content is so depressing. :p They've been advertising Christmas movies on TV and it's not even Halloween yet!

My DD and I did some Christmas shopping today. Her MIL gave her one of those elves you sit out at Christmas with a little gift every day. Last year when she gave one to DD and to her own DD, she also included a toy for every day. So a new Dollar Tree opened in the next town, and I suggested we go see if we could find our elf toys. We found enough for the 2 weeks she wants to do it and for a few stocking stuffers too. We have finished shopping for her two little boys pretty much between this trip and one to Costco. Now if I just had ideas and lists or suggestions from the big boys and girls on our list.
