Sew What October Birthday Blocks

I know some of the blocks have already been sent, so here is the thread to post on. Please remember to let me know when you get your blocks. I am sorry to say mine will be late since my machine is still in the shop.

Geri, I have had your block made for ages and pinned to my design board and I think it turned out pretty neat!

With our Cdn $ almost par, there is probably and frantic shopping frenzie going on so I am sending your block quite early...just want to make sure you have it for your birthday.

Hope you can hold out and open you blocks on your birthday....it is so exciting and so much fun!

I received a block from mrseldoo and I'm holding it until my birthday. The excitement is starting to build and it's not even October yet!

Hey all, An update: I have received blocks from: Polardream (Sue) Poldiceann (Ann) Lockeb (Bill) NanaJayne Dian57 (Dianne) So far, "on their way" are: nana24 (Sally) Vasu_Texas (Vasu) paulah-gardener (Paula) Heard from Macbeaner (Virginia), and it will be a little late (no worries :)) For those who have mailed them and they haven't arrived, I would give it some time still :) Strange that mail is taking so long, but I can't imagine that so many blocks are lost in the mail. I'm sure they will arrive eventually. I haven't heard from several people at all, but if I haven't listed you here and you have sent the block, please let me know so I know to look out for it. Thanks a lot!

Geri, Your block is done and will go out, probably on Monday....Can you believe it's almost October???Where did our summer go? But this is a nice time of the year, as long as the cold weather stays away....

Geri, I was on my way to the post office this morning when I remembered it's Columbus Day! Shoot. Your block will be mailed tomorrow. I hope it makes it to you by Friday...

I have been working 80+ hours a week at work and haven't had much time for quilting, but I have all of my birthday blocks completed now so November and December blocks will be on time. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I received a package today from lola99. Thanks lola99--I'm waiting until the big day (tomorrow) to open all that I've been collecting over the past couple of weeks. Thanks for your good wishes nickisews--I'll be on the lookout for all the rest.

Happy birthday, Geri. Your block went out yesterday. I had it done a few weeks ago but forgot to mail on time. I hope it will help you extend your birthday another week :-)

Thank you all for your birthday wishes. Today I opened six wonderful birthday packages. They are from: mrseldoo, lola99, patruth, bonnie_NMI, irishdancergram, and love2sew. They are all beautiful and I just love them all along with all your hard work and good wishes. I'm going to wait to get the rest and then I'll post them for all to see. I began the grand opening at 5:30 this morning. LOL. Thank you all again.
