My boys have a playstation. I have two huge drawers underneath the tv. They put it in there. When they want to play, they just plug it into the plugs on the side of the tv and then they put it back in the drawer.
I'm sure you can set up the wii on a shelf just like your dishnetwork receiver. Keep all the accessories in the drawer.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. The Wii is so small it will sit right behind your flat screen on whatever stand you get for the TV. The other part, that senses your movement, sits right on top of the TV. Remotes and games can be stored anywhere. We have one and you don't even know it's there. Have fun!

Our wii sits on top of our cable box and all the accessories are stored in the "suitcase" to the left of it that I picked up at Homegoods.

The wii itself is very small and looks like an external computer drive. We have it sitting next to our receiver on an open shelf.

The accessories will depend on the games you get. We have the single player guitar hero, the paddles that come with, and the wii fit stand thing. The paddles are small and fit into the drawer in our side table where we keep our remotes. We have tucked the guitar and and the wii fit behind one of the bookcases of our entertainment center since they're too large to fit in the cabinets under our 50'' TV stand.

Would you mind sharing your wall color? I like how it looks with the gray of the fireplace stone. I have gray countertops in my kitchen, and I'd like to paint my walls in there a yellow/goldish something, but was worried how it'd flow with the grays in my house (the walls are currently a very soft, light gray).

Thanks for the color names, Jynxed; I appreciate it. Since monitors can vary with color "interpretation", I can't tell if your window treatment is light blue or gray. It reads grayish on my screen (as well as your backsplash?) and goes well, I think, with your wall color. So now yellow/gold is back in the running along with LA Spice for my kitchen.

Xoxosmom--don't wait too long before Christmas to buy your Wii; they're still not easy to come by. I just got one last week and have yet to hook it up (been too busy to chance getting sidetracked by the games). I, too, was wondering if we'd leave it hooked up (and out) all the time or what.

Tracey - it is grayish/green (a lot of sage greens fall in the gray category). The exterior banding is a french blue. The backsplash is tumbled travertine. It is mostly beige but it does have gray undertones. You can go to your nearest BM dealer and pic up the "historic colors" pamphlet. The Chestertown Buff was painted before we knew what the fireplace material was going to be. It was not planned but I actually like the results.
