Noving load bearing wall

I'm re-designing the kitchen in a 60s ranch. I moving 5ft of a 8ft non load wall 2ft closing the 7ft opening to 5ft. I'm removing a door opening and 5ft of a load bearing wall along with a 4ft non load wall that L's into it making a corner. I'm putting in a new beam to replace the now missing 5ft bearing wall 5ft back attaching from the new wall spanning to the existing fireplace brick wall which is the main load wall in the house.

Question: Is a double 2x6 or 2x8 a big enough beam for the 5ft.

Thanks
