DD got a great deal on a flowergirl dress!!

Manohman! $20 NEW on eBay!

Maybe tomorrow I can get in to post a pic or link, eBay is down for maintenance?? Or that is the message I keep getting when I click on the link she emailed me earlier.

Its beautiful and Maddie will be a pretty lil gal in it!

Can't wait to see it. She will be the perfect little flowergirl whatever she wears. Does you know who know about Maddie being the flower girl? I dread to think.

argggh! I am so darn mad, I still can't get the pic to come up when I click on the link! Dang it! Its a dress I am sure would be easily $100-$120.
Mallory, I dunno for sure but I'd think lil Miss Gabby has told her mother..I know she knows DD is engaged. DD went thru the entire year counting week-ends so the wedding fell on Daddy's week-end....I hope nothing interferes with it. We are figuring Maddie will have to come on Thursday night tho because rehersal is Friday night....keeping our fingers crossed on that.

Lucky gal, Of course, the whole thing was a joke (except for the part about me feeling so frustrated because I wasn't coming across any good buys). I got the idea for the stick-ons from others on this forum. I think the first time I saw them, someone had used them on taper candles. The only time I've used them as a serious decorating element is for individual votives. . The flowers and hearts in the original post are little sponge rubbery things they sell at Michael's. I have a bunch of them for art projects with the grandkids. They have paper on the back that you peel off to reveal a sticky surface. The shamrock was stuck on with some rubbery stuff that is used to hold down plates so they won't fall during an earthquake. I lost the original wrapper long ago, but remember finding the stuff at Lowe's. Used the same stuff on the paper ghosts and trees. The stuff rubs right off when you're finished with it.

I was given an upright freezer when dh and I got married a few years ago. I tried to be neat and organized when I moved last fall, but I accidentally left a bucket of water in it and the movers moved it that way. Yuck mold! I finally cleaned it out yesterday. There are a lot of great food deals this week so I stocked up. By stocking up at this time and not right when I moved here I paid attention to organizing it. Frozen meals on one shelf, meat on another and veggies in the bottom tray. It looks nice and now I think I may label the shelves just so we don't randomly throw stuff in there. If I can't find it, it goes to waste. I also think Jaybird got a great deal.

I'm back. Got to Target and saw a mob around a shelf display on the main isle ( I was thinking the jackets would be on a sales rack on the back wall)and jackets were being thrown into carts left and right. lol I picked up the first large that I could find and immediately noticed how small they ran. I then gathered up mostly the black in XL and L. Got two XL in green. Those were the only two colors in L and XL. I got a reddish/pink jacket in M for my daughter that wears a medium. My other daughter would need a large. I got 10 jackets all together. Once home, I tried on the XL and could barely squeeze in. My older daughter is rather blessed up top, so I am afraid that even the XL will not zip up to the top and that the M will be too small for younger daughter. Oh well, at least the L and XL will fit someone in need. Thanks again!

While working in a home center, I helped a family with their paint order. They had several kids that were running out of control, all over the store.They picked a hideous color, but it seemed to fit their personality, so I didn't argue.LOL I gave them all of the instructions and suggestions on how to paint their exterior. They even refused to buy primer because they felt that was just a sales ploy to get more money out of them! It took forever because they were chasing these darn kids. As they are leaving, Dad notices that we have some nice paint sprayers on sale. We explained even the tiniest details in how to use and care for it. Finally they left and everyone in the store let out a sigh of relief. About a month later Dad returns with the sprayer. It hadn't been cleaned so the nozzle was completely plugged up and he claimed it never worked from the beginning. Company policy was refund no questions asked. So he left a happy camper. Lo and behold About 2 weeks later, in comes the Dad with the paint sprayer. Even that wasn't the kicker. Our sales rep from the paint company, came in and said he had been sent by their headquarters because of a customer complaint, and they would be meeting in the store, so he could follow them out to the country where they lived. You're ahead of me! Yes, it was the same family. Their complaint was that they had not been properly instructed on their project and the paint had been poorly mixed and the color was not correct. We were well covered, with not only their sample but lots numbers and all. What they wanted this time, was for us to come and prep thier house and at out cost repaint it. The rep brought back pictures and you could see nothing had been preped, even the windows were not cover and this clown had used the spray painter, we had ended up refunding, and every window and shrub within 20 feet of that place was painted! Thank goodness, he had gone after the paint company and they were not so generous and didn't approve any adjustment. I really wanted our manager to charge them with fraud for the sprayer, but of course they didn't. Idiots abound! The other thing we dealt with at this store is we had an 80 year old klepto, that store small things like drill bits every trip to the store. He son was so embarrassed, but she seemed to always get the expensive ones and get several because they were small. LOL Working for the public is not for the faint of heart!

Duh! I went to the lady's store and found the same dress in ivory. Maddie's is white.

Connie, don't let little Miss Gabby leak the date. I wouldn't let her (Maddie) know the exact weekend, or month for that matter that it is going to happen. Sure as you do, the EX will find a way to ruin it.
Maddie will look cute if she's wearing a gunny sack. Just cause she IS cute.
I'll be waiting for the picture too.

Oops, we posted at the same time. That is a really pretty dress. Is the neckline scalloped? It's hard to tell with the white form it's on. It's really pretty though.

Its got somewhat of a curve to it in a couple places Leslie then comes to a slight V in the center...it has butterflies on the neckline and skirt. It IS hard to see...she will also carry this flower. DD thought it would be best because the churh says no petal dropping. The Bridesmaids will carry bouquets of fall colors. Maddie will carry a single flower, the color looks peachy here but its orangy.

Oh that is absolutely beautiful. Maddie will look like a little fairytale princess. I'll bet she is so excited! What kind of shoes will she wear with that? I just love the little butterflies

Betsy, NO clue yet! LOL Heather said keep an eye out for shoes, I have a feeling we shall have to order cause there is no place in the boonies to buy anything other than flip flops or tennies.
