Yes, we are ready. We have gave all our belongings, our pets and money away.... well everything except for the computer. haha... Silliness if you ask me... now if I wake up to a huge earthquake I might think differently.

A church in our city is having a "left behind" party on Sunday!

Yeah, we've planned a big party at work on Monday, for those of us who are "left behind"!!!

I heard someone say that it's going to happen at 6 pm this evening. And it's going to start out with some huge natural disaster, but the whole shebang will take something like 5 months? So it's gone from the big one happening on the 21st, to staring on the 21st and taking 5 months. Yeah, o.k., whatever you say. lol

I just don't know where these ideas come from and how they pick up so much steam. Someone has to have money somewhere to pay for all the billboards etc.

Anyhow, it's something to talk about I guess. God willing, I'll see you tomorrow!!!

I was listening to CNN this morning and it's the word of one man. They said his name, but I forgot. He first predicted it was going to happen in 1994, but now says he wasn't quite sure of that date, but he's definitely sure this time. It pretty much comes from Revelations in the bible. If you've ever read it you know it's very strange and will scare the daylights out of you.

Just think, when it's 6 p.m. this evening, it'll already be tomorrow in other places. That's why the "prophesy" was changed to having several earthquakes instead of just one big boom.

I read someone offered Camping a dollar for all his property since he wouldn't be needing it. He turned it down. hahahahaha!

Harry says he's more prone to believe the Mayan indians who predicted the world would end in 2012. They predicted it 1000's of years ago about the same time Hindu indians half a world away predicted the same thing. No internet back then so that's kinda creepy.

When I was young, I remember my Dad telling a story, supposedly about some aunt, who, on her wedding day, when her bridesmaid asked her whether she was ready, replied, "As ready as I'll ever be".

It seems that some time before, she'd had her hat set on another man, and he'd earlier married someone else.

Tough go, right?

I read on CNN that the receptionist at the Doomsday Church has been scheduling appointments for co-workers well past May 21...Guess that means she doesn't buy her boss's "predictions" and neither do her co-workers. LOL

It's a beautiful day, today, Saturday!

Your right, Glenda, even with our rainy day today, I picture all of the trees and plants just drinking up all of wonderful liquid God is sending them. I have mixed feelings about the end coming today. I feel like I have some things to accomplish here on earth yet. Then again, if it did end, I would see my Son, Brian and DDIL, Dirty fingernails. Oh well what ever, come what may.

So it's supposed to be at 6:00, regardless of what time zone you're in, right? Seems sort of inefficient--wouldn't it be easier to have everything all done and over with at one time? And since it's already after 1PM here (East Coast) shouldn't the reports becoming in about it already starting in Europe??????

So why am I spending all this time, on my last day on earth, painting and fixing up the patio for summer?

No, folks. The "prediction" is for 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Supposedly there will be a huge earthquake at that time. Those deserving will ascend. Those not deserving will live 5 months of struggle and torture on earth, until God ends the world on October 21, 2011. That's what Camping claims.

By the way, in case you're interested, I'm in Eastern Standard Time and it is now 6:12 PM. No earthquake. I think we're safe :-)

I remember when some sect decades ago predicted the end of the world in a month or two. They started buying luxurious things they could not afford on their charge accounts--Cadillacs, jewels, etc. They had a problem with their credit when we all survived.

It's 6:14 pm and I woke up from my nap and it's still a BEAUTIFUL day!

Sheilajoyce--my DD was just telling me that an acquaintance of one of her friends cashed in his 401K a few weeks ago and went on a spending spree because he believed this crock. What a shame--he's going to pay for that bad decision the rest of his life.
