VERY comfy, very reasonably priced and very enjoyed by our sons, one of which is 6'1" and long legged.

We have Lee Industries rolled arm couches and chair to go along with DH's recliner. It's not exactly the "ONE" I would have picked but he loooovvvvveees it. It is the H&M Sadler chair. Very comfy for him (he's 6'2") but also suprisingly comfy for me too. More recliner looking but he had to have something to support his neck/head when he reclined.

I think I have a similar setup as you are describing with 2 sofas. I didn't want 2 big recliners so I went with the smaller chair for me that rocks, swivels and is very comfy. I'm 5'3" on a good day.

I love the Chloe recliners - very stylish and they do look very similar to the rolled arm couch. Do you know what color leather they are?

I can tell just by looking at it that DH will probably find the H&M recliner very comfortable, so we'll start with those two.

Mitch - I would like to have a couch and loveseat with the two recliners, but DH wants the recliner facing the television (his big screen, of course!) and there's a fireplace on the wall adjacent to the chairs, so I was planning on using two upholstered chairs on the other side of the room, in front of the entertainment wall and facing the recliners. Since I can't block the television, I think any extra seating along that wall will have to be either 2 smaller chairs or a bench. I really like the picture above with the two couches facing each other and the chairs between, but that won't work with my somewhat odd floor plan (the fireplace is actually directly centered between the living room and dining room).

Mitch, that's just a club chair and ottoman, not a recliner, but it was made by Bradington-Young which also makes very nice recliners. Classic Leather also makes great recliners. Both companies have more in their product lines than what's shown on the website (actually there's something wrong with B-Y's site today, pages are timing out).

Hancock & Moore is quite a bit better quality than Lee or RH (Mitchell Gold). There's a very interesting comparison of leather furniture manufacturers here.

Thanks for posting the leather comparison site - it was very informative. Bradington Young has some recliners that would definitely work, and I think there's a local dealer that also sells the Hancock and Moore, so hopefully they'll have some on display to compare.

I am also looking for a new recliner and I just happened to stumble upon a post by txnewmommy who has the most gorgeous leather recliner. I asked her if she would mind sharing where she got it and she told me it is a "Springfield" model by Hancock and Moore. She said she purchased it online through 'The Keeping Room' in Alexandria, VA. I'll post a picture and the link to her thread below. I absolutely LOVE this recliner but so far, in the short time I've had the info, I haven't been able to find out much about it yet. I don't have a clue how much one would cost but I'd surely like to have it!

scarlet - thanks for the info on the Alexandria. That is a nice recliner. Coincidentally, I've already contacted Duane Collie of "The Keeping Room" at his website, as his name kept coming up when I was searching the Gardenweb archives. If I find a recliner that I like, I'll most likely get a quote from him.

Thank you, newdawn. I do love the lines of the upholstered version, but will be getting it slipcovered instead due to maintenance. I'm thinking that rather than a full-skirted slipcover, like the one offered by RH, I'll get a more tailored one that exposes the legs, similar to one offered by Lee.

I'm also thinking linen, but should probably be looking at cottons for more durability, so we'll see. Hopefully, I'll be able to retain the nice lines of the upholstered couch (which I would get in a heartbeat if I didn't have a 5-yr old, or a teenage boy, or a pool!)

Sorry, I don't recall the exact leather color of the Chloe recliners...
I just remember thinking it was similar to the color of a football, if that helps.
