Spiders and a few other indoor plants are susceptible to brown tips, with that said, brown tips could be happening for a few reasons, light is wrong, hard water use, too little water, too much water, also, too much fertilizer can all burn the tips. Only feed lightly, or half strength or less in the spring and summer months now and then, none in winter when many plant slow down their growth. Low humidity can also play a part or a combination of ones I already mentioned. To minimize brown tips, make sure the pot is just an inch more around than the entire root-ball and water well (thoroughly) when the soil has had a chance to dry out first. Get rid of any water in the saucer. Giveve them bright indirect light. As far as the ones wrinkling, not sure why that is, they may just start to brown like the others. 1st loan specialist (ha-ha) said nope, nothing has changed. supervisor, yea right, probably just a coworker actually admitted it had changed. seems WF was getting fed money for any loans being modified. even the folks with current loans with good payment history like myself. of course i can refi on my own now, and pay all fees. its just the lying that sucks. WF could just say, yes 1 year ago we did have a 1yr waiting period but now the program has changed and you can do it only once. so piss me off with made up stories or tell me the truth.

I used a combination of techniques to FINALLY get our curtains to glide easily. Like you, i t was driving me nuts to close and open the curtains every day. We bought a house with blackout curtains that covered a triple sliding glass door—total 12 feet long. There was also a 3 section window that was 11 feet long. The curtains have wide grommets and the curtain rod was 1.5 inches in diameter. We have to close the curtains every night as it is VERY bright and sunny as early as 5 AM in the summer. I tried several different suggestions I found online and finally arrived at a combination of a homemade narrow and longer single rod along with the rolling shower curtain hooks in bronze I found on amazon. I made the new longer and more narrow metal pole without telescoping sections out of half inch metal electrical conduit—about $7 for 10’ at Home Depot. I needed two rods at 12’6” and 11’6”, but could only find 10 foot sections at our local home depot, so I bought three 10 foot sections and a pipe cutter, and pipe connectors to make longer rods. I cut one pole into the two shorter sections I needed to add to the 10 foot section of each rod. I had a couple of pieces of wooden dowels I used duct tape sticky side out and put inside the two sections and the connector so the rod wouldn’t sag at the connection point. I then spray painted both rods with some bronze/brown paint—it took a whole can for the two rods—and I actually went over a light coat of black spray paint I had to get more coverage. I had tried the grommet curtains on the just the more narrow single rod, but it was still sticking a little. So I ordered the rolling shower curtain hooks from Amazon in bronze attaching them to the grommets and then the rings to the rod. IT WORKS GREAT—FINALLY! I still have to figure out the end finials, but can use the curtains for now with ease. Here is the list of things I used for the two 12 foot rods—most at Home depot except for shower curtain rings 1. 3 10’ sections of ½ inch metal electrical conduit—about $7 each 2. a pipe cutter about $18 3. conduit connectors ($2.50 for 5, but I only needed 2) 4. I don't have an account with Wells Fargo, but own some stock. The stock dipped a bit. I do understand how this could have happened. I haven't heard that any customers lost money - just that their deposits were used in a manner not disclosed to them. There could have been extra fees; I don't know. I fault management for setting up this situation. I saw something similar years ago in the company I worked for. We had a vice President who thought it productive (and fun to watch) to create competition and ill will among his working managers, the guys af the bottom of the management chain who are tasked with doing actual work and getting things done. It nearly wrecked the company. Instead of fostering an atmosphere of cooperation the company once had, it turned manager against manager. The production and maintenance engineers searched the system to find ways to shift costs to a different department. They found loop holes in the internal accounting system. One example: The factory ordered a batch of screws to assemble a particular product, however, due to an error in the orfering process, these parts were improperly heat treated and were useless, scrap in other words. Under normal circumstances, these parts would have been scrapped, new ones ordered, and the scrap loss would have been charged to the factory's budget. The factory was in one town and the development office was at another location 600 mile distant. The factory would enter a drawing change request for something very minor like a small change in the plating formula. This often happens when a vendor has a slightly different process, but one that is yet suitable. The home office approves the change and marks the box to scrap the older parts thinking there was not many and not knowing it was an entire lot for a week's production. Bingo! The scrap charges goes against the Development Dept.'s budget instead of the factory. In the accounting system, the cost of making the product has been artificially lowered. An accumulation of such shenanigans over the course of a year alters the true cost of manufacturing the product and its profit, which in turn, skews management's decisions about selling price and whether or not to continue to make the product, or to begin planning for a replacement or redesign. Upper Management was using certain pieces of data from the accounting system to calculate yearly bonuses to the line managers, and these managers were busily thwarting the accuracy of the system. It was a bad time to be working there. Thankfully, the executives caught on to what was happening and replaced this VP.
