I thought it was only fitting. Not only is this news much more important than Trumps ridiculous show, in my opinion, any chance to stick it to that ego-maniac, pleases me. After all, Trump plans to use this dog and pony show to "make his announcement" I did surf between the RH of OC and Apprentice, and when he let the self mutilating Jackson come back after firing her last week, you have to know there really is no contest...it is all scripted by Mr Fox-on-his head.

The Fox on his head line is from Seth Myers talking about Trump at the White House Correspondent's dinner on Saturday night. Both the president and Myers ribbed him unmercifully and Trump didn't even crack a smile. He obviously has no sense of humor about himself.

Fran 1523, I admit it I borrowed that phrase from Myers. I thought it both descriptive and appropriate. But truly, in the weight of things, what is more important.....Trumps TV show or the final capture and/or killing of the US's greatest enemy??

Obviously Bin Laden news takes priority over Trump. When I posted they had not said it was about Bin Laden. Yes, I like the Apprentice, no, I do not think Trump should run for president. His antics over our presidents birth place had dropped Trump in my book.
BUT, the Apprentice is one of the few shows I do watch with regularity and was disappointed. After all, President Obama did not actually come on tv til about 11:40ish.

I think the announcement trumps the show, but the networks knew the president was not going to speak until 10:30 pm central time. Not only did the network cut into programming, but they stole the thunder from Obama. There was something awkward about that.

I like to watch Apprentice, but there is no way I would vote for Trump. I've seen how he makes decisions in the boardroom. He's vulgar, tacky, not very logical and a whole lot of other things that I don't like. Watching Trump is sort of like watching the bad boss at work that everyone hates.

Obama has his own issues, but that's political and I'm not going there on KT.

I didn't have a problem with LaToya being brought back. She didn't deserve to be fired last week. Hope didn't deserve to be fired either, but Trump fires anyone he doesn't think is a fighter. I'd like to see a double elimination of Star and NeNe (or Meanie as I've seen her called elsewhere), but that probably won't happen.

I just looked up the preview for next Sunday. CA starts an hour early and Trump mixes up the teams. NeNe goes to the mens team. The womens team gets Meat Loaf who cries a lot. Three people get fired. I'm going to predict it is Meat Loaf, NeNe and Little John. Although I'd rather keep Little John and get rid of Star.

Does Trump need a trumpet ...

Kathy G in MI, I apologize if I sounded harsh about you feeling bad about not seeing the end of your show. I do know how disappointed I am (angry actually) when a show I had planned to watch is pre-empted by sports. CA is re-run on some cable network during the week, I'm sorry I don't know which one. Hopefully your TV listings will tell you where and you can see the show in it's entirety.

NEW YORK CITY -- The NBC network will not rerun Sunday night's "Celebrity Apprentice" or "America's Next Great Restaurant," network officials said Monday.

Both shows are also available on NBC.com and both shows will air again on the NBC/Universal family of networks.

The May 1 episode of "Celebrity Apprentice" will be repeated on CNBC at 8 p.m. and again at midnight on Friday, May 6, as well as on Bravo from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7.

"Celebrity Apprentice" will have a recap of last week's episode and firing before this Sunday's (May 8) episode, as part of the overall 3-hour broadcast.

Not surprised that Hope went home. Have to keep the drama up. I really cannot stand Meanie. She was a bully on RH and she is a loud-mouthed bully on CA. I actually almost felt sorry for Star! But she handled it well, making Meanie look even more low rent than she already did.

I've started watching it lately. Don't like the show particularly, and don't particularly like Donald Trumped-up that much, but I do get annoyed when the stations break in with "breaking news", claiming the President "will be speaking shortly" and still saying it over an hour later. Plus, the hype about what he might say, then it's "confirmed" that he's going to say this, so why bother to air the speech? Wouldn't the proverbial "film at 11" suffice?

Had they actually cut in, had a 15 second intro that "The President is addressing the nation" and gone to the speech, that'd be fine. But hyping it for over an hour was totally unnecessary. They also pre-empted the news broadcast in order to have a babbling reporter ad-lib. Not a very professional news operation IMO. But few are these days.

I don't think every station needs to cover Presidential speeches, royal weddings and the like. There's plenty of channels out there and they can run a crawl that there's an event that might interest you on channel "x".

Wasn't at all surprised at the firing. She didn't make for good T.V. and after all, we have to keep the ratings up. I laughed when the break-in occurred just at the most timely moment. There is no question in my mind that it was purposely orchestrated that way.....knowing how T.V. networks work, and knowing there isn't a network around that wants to be out scooped by another.

I was watching "Brothers and Sisters" when they broke in with that special announcement. That always scares me when they do that, I don't know what bad news to expect.
