Thanks for letting me know those are Flor tiles, Sue! Even better! They would likely work better than the rug I have in my kitchen because the ends of the rug are bulky and get in the way of the trash compactor opening. I have been having a hard time finding the right long rug for the hallway that will run from our front door to the mudroom, too. I will have to keep an eye out for good deals on flor tiles while we do that part of our remodel. I have been really enjoying the home decor forum here now that our kitchen is mostly done, and we will be starting on the rest of the house this spring. We just got cafe curtains hung in the kitchen and dining room today, so it was nice to see your curtains, too. Just enough for privacy, but still lets the light in...

sheesharee, you have to order Ellen's paint through her website or call her but the store you pick up the order at is ICI Dulux paints. Or you can have it shipped. The paint is full spectrum color which means it has 7-8 pigments while most paint only has a few pigments. You cannot really duplicate the colors since she uses so many pigments. The paint is on the expensive side but is of excellent quality. And the depth of the color is wonderful. I like Ellen's colors and most of her shades blend well with one another so that the struggle to get one room to flow with another is greatly lowered. Ellen's site is http://www.ellenkennon.com You can also order samples.

Okay, you can all come down for margaritas on the screen porch! The house is in RI and it's about 1-1/2 hours from our primary house. We had another house in the same area for about 4-5 years and then sold it and bought this one 3 years ago. We are very fortunate because we have a big yard (lots of wiffle ball games) and we're about 4 blocks from the beach. And now, we have water views from almost every window! Previously, the second floor was really tiny and the windows were small so you hardly knew we were near the water. Thanks for all the kind words! I really have to pinch myself because I never thought we'd have anything like this.

Awwwh, how sweet! You're a nice mommy for taking him swimming.

I'm surrounded by water yet my dog won't go in. He doesn't like to get his paws wet.
