Bungalow Oak Park, Raised 5-panel doors, closet doors? wainscotin

New to this board, although we redid our kitchen last year with the help of the kitchen board!

We have a stucco bungalow in Oak Park, IL. When we bought it all the doors were mismatched, the original woodwork all broken and or replaced with pine, etc. In other words, none of it was salvageable.

We are replacing all the doors in the house with raised 5-panel doors, which is what we think the house originally had as *most* our doors are raised 5-panel (keep in mind we had 28 doors in our house when we moved in--most of which were UNNECESSARY! But that's a whole other issue...)

Anyway, I would also, however, like to add wainscoting to our stairs, but I am wondering if shaker style flat panel wainscoting would look strange next to the raised 5-panel doors? Any suggestions? Opinions?

And lastly, I am not sure what to do about closet doors. We are trying to keep costs down as you could imagine, we are basically rebuilding this house. Everything needs to be done.

I am trying to find a cost effective closet door that match the regular doors?

Thoughts? Help!

Thanks ;)
