This is one of the reasons I decided on a true white paint for my cabs...I wanted white trim throughout our house, and our kitchen is fairly open to our family room. Creamy cabs are so pretty, but I couldn't figure out how to make it work with white trim. I am sure someone here has the solution!

We have cream cabinets with white trim and ceiling and gray walls. It looks nice--really!

We just had the same delimma ourselves. We have white trim throughout the house so with our creamy white cabinets, we chose to warm up our trim a bit. We went with BM's Mayonnaise which is not as dark as our cabinets but wasn't as stark as our other trim was. There is a difference between our cabs and trim but that doesn't really bother me.

I, too, have creamy cabinets and white trim throughout the house. Solid white dishes and figurines were placed in my illuminated wall display cabinets, with dark grasscloth in the back of the cabinets, to bring white into the kitchen and balance out the creme and white distribution. It looks quite nice. The same thing could be accomplished with pure white decorative objects placed on the counter or in other areas, such as pictures hung on the wall.

I have same dilemma. Carpenter just installed our Divinity White cabinets in new home and they look much creamier than I expected (thought they would be more white). Now we need to decide on trim color...DH wants all white trim, I'm leaning that way too. Why didn't I choose the super white cabinets???

Laura, is that Schuler's divinity white? We had the same problem. Initially painted the trim white, but that made our cabinets look creamier. I wound up bringing a door to the paint store and having them match it. I am so much happier with the creamy trim in the kitchen. Its a subtle shift back to white for the rest of the house.
