Big Surprise Today !!!!!

This Thursday is our 42nd Anniversary.

We haven't planned on doing anything. I thought maybe we'd go out for a nice dinner.

Then last week he said he wanted to have a dinner here and have the kids come over. He seemed all excited about it.

He bought a big brisket (sp?) roast to cook in the big roaster. And Hamburger and Hot dogs to cook on the grill.

Then he called the girls and ask them to bring salads and desert. We'd furnish the meat,pop,buns, chips and all that.

I just wasn't into the "big deal" of it...but he was, so I went along with it.

Then today when everything was ready and I was putting the frosting on the cake I made. I said "are we ready to eat now?"...He said "Yes , but I've got something for you here I want you to open first."

He had already bought me a toilet seat and told me it was for our Anniversary...Gee...thanks....LOL

I opened the package and what a surprise. He bought me a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT....

I've been watching for a camera...but I never expected this one. Even though I think it is great...But I'll never learn how to use it to it's fullest. I'm a tech. dummy.

My daughter had gotten a new Sony digital for Mother's day so we've been flashing away all day...and having a great time...

The other best thing was we got to have Marcus...our greatgrandson with us today too...Big Bonus...Great Day.
