What shade of haint blue for my porch ceiling?
Comments (8)I used BM Silver Cloud on our porch ceiling and love it with the sage (Nantucket Gray) of our house body, but for yours I think I'd be tempted to try something like the Pool Blue. It's hard to tell from my monitor though. Your house color looks great and your porch looks so peaceful :)...See MorePorch ceiling color - haint blue, Eider White, or other?
Comments (21)@Ninigret and pink_peony, the changes we've made are ones we have wanted to do for years but every time we had the money saved to do it, something more urgent came up that had to be tackled. Then, the contractor we had lined up to do it moved out of state. It has taken us months to find someone who could get to us because we are in a hot market/economy here which hopefully equates to us selling quickly and for top dollar ;) The step railing goes in tomorrow morning (snafu with it today) and professional photos after that. Hoping to be listed by Friday :)...See MoreHaint blue porch ceiling to go with SW Comfort Gray siding

Comments (23)Thank you! There are many more different coleus, there are companies that just specialize in coleus, would you believe it? https://rosydawngardens.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzIPai7ur9QIVzRXUAR2QwwYWEAAYAiAAEgL6D_D_BwE And they are so, so easy to propagate, Just cut off at a slant a quarter inch below a node and stick in water and the roots grow, and change the water frequently until that happens. Or if you have rooting powder, dust the end with rooting powder and stick it directly in not-too tightly packed soil. Have one grouping of leaves above the cut end (you need some leaves for photosynthesis) but not too many leaves or all the energy goes to the leaves and it won't make roots. Keep in the light, but not too bright or too hot. You can find lots of directions on line. Your house would also look nice with window boxes, as do many houses. Don't be shy about asking people for cuttings, like many plants, they get bushier when they are trimmed properly, so you are actually doing them a favor!...See Morecaminnc
