I like dress 1 and 2 equally. That Whitecake Sugars is magical! I can envision a Christmas themed wedding for certain with that! I also love the brown and pink, but I'd have to do something more like Tiffany blue and green, but I love the dots, the flowers, it's adorable. Good choice of word. Oh, I do so enjoy seeing people in love. Your face shows it so much.

I used this recipe for a 25th anniversary cake. It was nice....moist..sliced nice and not all crumbs. ______________________________________________ 1-2-3-4 Cake 1 cup butter, softened 2 cups sugar 3 cups Swans Down Cake Flour, sifted 3 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 eggs 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon almond extract Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour three 9 inch cake pans. Make cake: In a mixing bowl cream butter and gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. In another bowl sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture alternately with milk and flavorings to creamed mixture, beating after each addition until smooth. Pour batter into cake pans. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans and finish cooling on racks.

Thanx! My wife baked a popcorn cake for our daughter's wedding. When it came time to cut it the groom tried an ordinary knife which didn't work. He then pulled out a real big knife, maybe a sword type thing - nope. Next he pulled out a 3 foot meat saw I just happened to have, put one knee on the table and tried to saw thru - nope again. Next may have been a hatchet and I believe the last straw was either an ax or splitting maul. All staged of course. Everybody enjoyed the whole thing except the brides father who took a dim view of such purile amusements at such a solemn occasion. Which is why he was not allowed to pay for the wedding. Which is one reason I am married to his ex-wife. I danced with the Women's Libber from across the street (she asked me).

thanks, everyone. Ellen, Cathy, my family knows I share everything here, they can peek if they want but none of them really care. If they did they wouldn't have camo wedings, LOL. Eileen, I cleaned it up from the first post, now THAT was a good read but I was afraid it would be.....incendiary, or something, LOL. Coconut, he squirmed, but he can't get away from Grandma! Of course, he made me "pay" him by stopping at the local Wesco station for a big ole' blue slushie. I had to take Zander too, he loves to ride in the Jeep and he had to have the time to try to talk me out of my new bull. Little shyster... Ann T, it's all that practice! Now I've got to work on Ashley's baby shower cake... dcarch, $523? I wish I actually liked baking those cakes, I'd consider it. But somehow I just know that if I had to do certain things I'd hate it and something (or everything) would go wrong and brides would be angry and well, I guess I'll keep making them for free and only for family and friends. Alexa, I was astounded that I could even buy camo cake wraps, but I was even more astounded when I found the cake topper! And camo vests and ties, go figure. Thanks, June, it was definitely one of the more interesting cakes I've done, along with that beer can pouring that I made Dave last year. Annie
