LOOKING for: Turkey question

Has anyone ever cooked and sliced their turkey the day before, and reheated it?

I am thinking about doing this, it would make things so less hastle free on thanksgiving. We don't put the turkey on the table anyway. We do buffet style.

When everything is being prepared and ready to eat, someone is always in the way, carving the turkey and then there is the mess all over. I can't stand the mess.

I am think of cooking it the day ahead, slicing it , putting it back into a cooking bag with the juices, and reheating it right before the meal. Do you think it would dry out?
