Believe it or not, i wash sleeping bags and comforters in my tiny Bosch Axxis. The front loaders can hold a lot more than you think. I did a demo when I bought the Bosch and they had 17 towels stitched together at the store. Me and my friend, who ended up buying the same machine, were shoving those towels in there and could not believe it. This was a while ago (5 years ago) and people didn't think the tiny 23" X 23"X 33" machine would hold more than a towel. It can wash comforters AND sleeping bags. Even a Northface polyfill one, which are notorious for not getting wet. Go to an appliance store and start shoving a sleeping bag or a comforter in the washers and see what fits. Seriously. It sounds crazy but I'm so happy I did. I was switching from a super capacity top loader, so I could wash anything in it. I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting stuck with a tiny little machine that could only wash hand towels. I think Snyder Diamond and other high end places even have things like the towel demo sometimes. It's good to know where you are going to dump some serious cash!!

leahcate - Ours too! lol She (Riley the JRT) hides under our bed and waits until we are settled in the bed. When the lights are off, she then jumps up on the bench, looks around to see if we are asleep, and then jumps up on the bed. She then tries to "snuggle" with DH. He pushes her to my side, and I push her to the end of the bed. She always ends up next to my back. We have a towel we try to put out if we know she will be joining us for the night. msrose - Is that YOUR bedroom? Beautiful! I love the idea of having a throw at the bottom of the bed, but I am afraid DH would strangle me. He is already grumpingly making fun of all the pillows on our bed. But, if I could find something with the gold of my curtains, that may be just what I need to finish the bed side my bedroom (the other side needs major work!).

I just upgraded from a queen to a king and I love all the extra space.. would never go back unless the room really cannot fit a king (like, banging your shins constantly). My DH's back hurt and he wanted a super expensive adjustable bed, but since Costco will take mattresses back, we ordered the Roseshore Firm from there. We love it! If it hadn't worked out for us I would have tried another Costco mattress because of that return policy. Mattresses are expensive and you don't want to be stuck with something uncomfortable. You can order from Costco.com and return to any store without being a member, I think you just pay something like 3% more.

Another thought.... How long do you want it to hang down on each side? How high is the queen bed it's going on? The difference in width on the beautiful quilt you're getting is 15". That means it would hang only 7.5" longer on each side of the bed. A queen mattress is 60" wide. The king quilt is 101" wide. That means it would hang down 20.5" on each side of the bed. (101 - 60 = 41, which is 20.5" on each side.) The full/queen is going to hang down 13" on each side of your queen bed. If you have a high bed, you might want to take a tape measure and try the 2 'side hang' measurements above on your bed before choosing. (Can you tell that my work is in analysis???) âº
