What would you do re: husband and plants

DH has a lot of time on his hands right now, and one thing he's doing is beautifying our yard. He's done a lot of work, and is doing a good job.

His work today though isn't my favorite. He went to his parents' house and got seven hostas (three different varieties), and planted them all under our crabapple tree. I think it looks cluttered, the plants are too big for the area, and it looks weird to have all different kinds of plants there. It just looks too busy.

Do I tell him? He's put so much effort into it, and I know I should just appreciate it. But, it's right in the front of our house, and I think it just doesn't look right. I think one or three would have been okay, but it just looks like too much.

What would you do? (I'll see if I can get a picture of it for you.) Tell him despite all the hard work he did harvesting and replanting? Or ignore it and move on?
