August Redwork Lesson Plan

Supply List

Download butterfly pattern from link below (we will be using the pattern on Page 2) or your own pattern

1 skein 6 strand red embroidery floss (DMC or Anchor) (*optional, other colors)

White fabric (white, muslin, cream, etc). 8" x 8"

Basic hand sewing supplies: needle (any fine needle with hole big enough for floss will do), hoop, scissors.

Fabric for pin cushion back (8" x 8")

Stuffing for pin cushion/ornament (polyfil, crushed walnut shells, etc)

Sewing machine

*Optional Lightbox

*Optional QuilterÂs Dream Request Poly or similar thin batting, (8" x 8")

*Optional Beads or embellishments
