Hot dogs and a macaroni salad with ham and grapes in it.

Patti-I would not think you would like what I eat. I don't eat a lot of different food. My list is very short, with that said I do love to cook & bake which I do everyday.
For dinner hubby had (I don't know what to call it) ital sausage, pasta, diced tomatoes, spinach & moz. cheese-very easy to make. I had a pork chop & mashed potato.
No rain today but it hit 85 deg. They say more rain on Wed

Golden Corral

I so enjoy their fried fish. Mainly eat that and some salad.

Did hit the dessert bar and ate peach cobbler with ice cream. Not the greatest by satisfied my craving.

Today was bridge day. I was very tired so on the way home, I picked up Chinese....Hot and sour soup, General Tso's chicken and Orange Beef. Not super great but not bad and I didn't have to cook. Yeah!

Mary, that sounds like the pasta dish I made the other night. Penne pasta, spicy Italian sausage, spinach, diced tomatoes, chicken broth and basil. Only mine had parmesan cheese, not mozzarella.....and yes, it was easy to make. It actually tasted better the second day.

I clean the local Legion twice a month. Today was cleaning day, and I took Hubby since today was a holiday. It took both of us 3 hours. When they asked me if I would take the job on, I quoted them 5 hours. They figured I could do it in 3 so pay me for 3 hours. I do a good job, but I could do even better if I had an extra hour. They're thrilled with my work though, (they weren't happy with the last cleaner). It's extra money for the month, and I'll keep on doing it.

I then picked a bunch of rhubarb at my step-fathers and made a pie, some stewed rhubarb and have a bunch more in the frig to make muffins and a cake with.

I also did 2 loads of laundry, just brought them in and put them away.

Hubby figured I worked enough today, and we went out for dinner.
Chicken Souvlaki with Greek salad and rice. They also give you potatoes, so we had their home fries (made from real, leftover potatoes, cut in slices and nice and brown). Dessert included, hubby didn't want any of the cakes, or a brownie so he had rice pudding and I had jello and whipped cream....haven't had that in years!

Pam, I would never think of putting grapes and ham in macaroni salad! Want to share the recipe? I'm wondering what else you put in it--mine mac salad is more like potato salad ingredients.

Mary, now it sounds ideal to like to cook but not eat it. I love to cook and bake plus I love it eat it. Sigh! I make a pasta similar to yours.

Glenda, we will probably be hitting Golden Corral when we go to Indiana on vacation this summer. I'll have to remember to try the fish.

Georgysmom, I'm worried about you. I know you're fighting the UTI, but you seem so tired lately. Of course, with your schedule, it's no wonder. Take care, girl!

Raven, oooh what I wouldn't give for a good chili cheese dog. I used to love Dairy Queen's but had one last fall and it was not the same at all.

My gosh, Jasdip, you have been ultra-busy today. It was very nice of DH to take you out. He was right. You certainly did a lot of work!! Dinner sounds yummy!

Salmon patties for us tonight. I add diced celery, onions, eggs, bread crumbs, mayo, and dill and then coat the patties with corn meal before frying. Made a quick batch of slaw to go with them.
