Oiled Bronze Appliances????
Comments (9)I thought oiled bronze was on the way out on faucets and light fixtures?? I'd also predict that stainless steel appliances are due for an exit to join black, avocado and harvest gold in the graveyard. My crystal ball guess would be multiple choices for colors. For example, Bluestar offers 190 different colors in three different textures and seven metallic textures. That would be for the high end, of course. On the low end, who knows? They tried to keep it cheap (for them) by taking a new color and giving it an upscale name (e.g. grey becomes 'slate') but that hasn't taken off. Because of warehousing, shipping, availability, etc., only a few colors could be offered and placing a bet on a small set of colors is risky but could have a big payoff if it takes off. Comments (57)After reading the posts, I had already tried Sprayway, Stainless Steel Magic, Mr Clean Erasers(once), vinegar and water. But never Pledge. As I only had the orange Pledge I thought what the ****, I'll try it. I used the Micro Fiber towel ( Yes the ones from Costco for cars). It was wonderful and quick. My French Door frig, my dishwasher and range look great and all in five minutes. I call my husband Shrek as he never thinks about using the handles, but now I have a quick fix. Thanks to those that suggested it....See MoreFaucet color choice, English Bronze?
Comments (4)Your faucet doesnt need to match the stainless steel appliances. So you can go for the English Bronze if that is what you love. What are you doing for lighting? Is there an opportunity there to bring in some more bronze, not that you have to but it might be nice? I would resist bringing a third metal finish into the kitchen- so don't do copper lights!...See MoreHelp: Stainless or Oil Rubbed Bronze Faucet?
Comments (13)I agree on the stainless. I like the Cruette, although personally I prefer a faucet with a single, deck-mounted control, like in your current setup (but I also like the pull-down). I have had a Delta Leland for ~4 years and have loved every minute of it! Maybe someone else can chime in on how well the Cruette works. WRT to moving the faucet to the side, I would be more concerned about how it functions, than how it looks. With your existing set up do you fill a pot with water by holding it in your left hand and using your right to control the water? Would moving the faucet make that harder/easier/no difference? Will you still be able to fit larger items under it if you move it to the back corner?...See Morevampiressrn
