online - I don't think I could make it with all the chickenscratches in a book game. McK had given up chemo for the time being. Then she went out and got a job at Target that starts at 2AM, and has been working it for 2 months. Amazing. The first MRI she had showed no growth. I heard a radio story about a drug that kills all types of cancer cells. Went to read about it. Since it is a very cheap, unpatented drug, there is no money for testing. I left my e-mail for updates. When I first heard her sing I got goosebumps. Daughtry did that to me too. But this morning when they were talking on the Today show about her they showed a few clips of her singing on the talent show. I was brought to tears. Her voice is undescribable. How someone so "simple" could possess such profound beauty, it just amazes me. I almost hope that she wins and then goes home. No album for promoters to make money off of. But then there would be no way to hear that lovely sound that should so be heard. But how does one share such a gift without the press and glam affecting their lives?? Is there a way for her to do this and still be Susan?? It is a shame the world is such that there is no room for someone to be themselves. Just thinking of her singing, it just stirs my soul.

I didn't find her dancing to be anything spectacular. I realize she's only 10, but the dance portion of her performance didn't have much flair. I didn't mind the song, she has an amazing voice, especially at that age. I don't think you can compare her and Susan Boyle - who also has an amazing voice but would appeal to vary different audiences. I am always amazed at how nice Simon is on this show as compared to how he acts on American Idol. Suzan J

You have to admire her... how many people would spend most of their adult life taking care of their mom.. I read early on that she left drama school at an early age... when you're on the 'dole' -- there's not a lot of cash for fancy duds... I say she goes for it & enjoys her time, however long it may be, of fame. Who wouldn't want to make the most of their looks... I plucked my eyebrows in college..and they were something along what she had... You go girl!!
