This little girl with an incredible voice showed up on Britains Got Talent. She could very well beat Susan Boyle.

She has a very strong voice for such a small child. I didn't care for her song choice.
If she leaves out the dancing and sings a bit more on key, she'll do OK.
She won't touch SB.

Susan Boyle has a good voice, but I don't think she would have become the international media sensation that she is if she'd had the same voice and had been a young/beautiful/dolled up contestant. In other words, whatever happens is not going to happen purely on the basis of her voice.

Some good things to think about. You're both making sense and possibly even getting through to me. So this fall/spring I'll split all the fescue again and really try to get a solid border and maybe a bit of mass. I might come out with the left end of the border some more. I wish I could say I like the idea of white but it's my least favorite color out front. There's already white trim and white porch railings and the neighbor has plenty of white vinyl fencing.... I feel like it's pointless to add white flowers (I actually dug up and removed a clump of 'becky' that was out there). The yellow accents and blue might work out, but my wife just informed me she doesn't like the yellow :( So I've been messing around in paint and it seems just about everything has to go, even my beloved 'tiger eyes' sumac. There is a variegated red twig dogwood behind the sumac, but the red twigs always seemed pointless in front of the red house.... but maybe I'll take another look at it for the white variegation, that can be my my 'test white' in the area. I may split the catmint and get another bunch or two of that going. I think I'm still going to stand by the color guard yucca (spiky yellow to the right), I divided a piece of this spring and it's near the blue spruce, just too small to notice. It my make for a nice spot of yellow and not obvious enough for my wife to complain about. And I should really cut the evergreen down. I think it's a Chamaecyparis, it's not a juniper. Sounds like a plan? I'll try to update but it may be a while. Hopefully this time things will begin to look a little better :)

I will pass your message on. Brandon, aka The Rock Doctor, is a young contractor who is trying to grow his business. I’ve been praising his work on local social media/consumer sites. Most people in my area (and elsewhere) would either live with a “bad” situation until they renovate, or just buy new granite. I find that to be unreasonable. I hope you are teaching your skills to others, too!!! It’s an amazing talent/skill. These beautiful granite and stone countertops should last decades. I thought it sounded like a lot of filler too. I've got a call in to Dr. D's office to clarify a few things. I know nothing about fat transfer, but will do some research. Dr. D did tell me that the area on my face that is starting to slightly jowl is not as a result of saggy skin, but I have excess fat in that area and due to other parts of my face on which gravity is taking its toll, the jowling is taking on more of a prevalent look. I don't know if I should be pleased to know that it's not just saggy skin but a fat face that I have! LOL!

I didn't find her dancing to be anything spectacular. I realize she's only 10, but the dance portion of her performance didn't have much flair.
I didn't mind the song, she has an amazing voice, especially at that age.
I don't think you can compare her and Susan Boyle - who also has an amazing voice but would appeal to vary different audiences.
I am always amazed at how nice Simon is on this show as compared to how he acts on American Idol.

Beautiful voice but she could have left the dancing and the costume out. Amazing.

Isn't there a young boy who's supposed to be a contender also? I'm not sure what the format of the show is but I'm guessing that they have to perform more than once. I'd have to see more than one performance before I can say who I prefer to win (like I watch the show regularly).

Lots of talent coming out of the woodwork.

Susan--I really love Susan's voice and think she would be a tremendous contender no matter what she looked like. Her appearance has made her even more interesting, though. Just as the young boy has drawn attention to himself because of his age. I hope Susan wins. SUSANS RULE!!! :-)
