Red Brick Ranch Exterior Colors
Comments (0)We recently bought a 1950s red brick house, and I'm looking for suggestions on exterior paint colors. We'd like to keep the brick as is but update the siding, shutters, trim and front door. The first picture is the house now (we are going to remove the large wheelchair ramp and add some landscaping). The second picture is old, but it gives a better view of the front of the house. TY in advance!...See MoreRed brick ranch trim color help please!!
Comments (6)I have a very similar colored house and am having similar issues. Our brick is beige but there is pink colored red rock appointments at the bottom. Someone painted the trim red prior to us, and it really brought out the pink. The red painted trim faded to pink. Bad idea. I was thinking of going white, like yours to lessen the pink tones. An interior designer told me sage green would lessen the pink, but I couldn't commit to that. I have a Pinterest board that may interest you. https://pin.it/1lpNVkh I have a handful of red/pink brick homes on there. My vote would be a darker grey....See MoreRed orange brick ranch from 1979 we need help with accent colors

A new landscaping plan is definitely required....See MoreExterior colors for red brick, ranch house?
Comments (6)here are some suggestions for the house, below. Do you plan on doing any landscaping? That alone will add more than half to curb appeal. just redoing your path and flower beds would make a huge difference. here's a brick ranch like yours with nice curb appeal. at the very least, clean up the walkway edging and redo the flower beds. Have you thought about extending your front porch? You could do something similar to this or see how they did the porch addition onto this one? you don't have to do all of this, just the porch I love this one. the landscaping and the brick redo. ideas for the brick...See Morelouisianagal
