For Crafteedee-thread ends

Hi there! After the posting you did on thread ends, I've been experimenting. I was going to try your method of putting the feed dogs down...but I found an easier way for me...and wondered if it would work for you.

I have a Brother computerized machine. My straight stitch only backstitches..but then I got to wondering about the stitch length. I hit the minus button on my stitch length, and the length went down to .2 . I lowered the needle, brought up my bobbin thread, then sewed a couple of stitches. At the .2, it stitched in place!! I then set my length back to 2.5 and stitched an inch, then cut off the ends. It worked great! I also ended my line of quilting the same way. It does leave a little dot of thread at the beginning and end, but looks so much better than the backstitch.

Like I said, I'm not sure this will work on your machine, but thought I'd pass this along to you just in case.
