did you see that the mlk quote on facebook wasn't really mlk?

There was a quote attributed to Martin Luther King going around Facebook in response to the jubilation after the killing of Bin Lauden. Several of my friends re-posted it.

I remember trying to figure out why and about whom MLK would have said the quote, but didn't bother to look it up, as I thought the quote was manipulative and wouldn't have posted it anyway.

Now it turns out that the first line of the quote - the manipulative part - was written by a 24-year-old schoolteacher. She used correct punctuation, making it clear that the first line was her own and the rest was from MLK, but subsequent posters eliminated the quotation marks around the quote from MLK, making it look as though the whole quote was from MLK.
