T&T Alfredo Sauce??
Comments (14)This is my husband's favorite Alfredo sauce. Hope you try it! Add chopped garlic and cook for about 1 minute--do not brown the garlic, if it is brown, start over with fresh ingredients. Add Heavy cream and whisk together. Add cheese and continue whisking until well blended and mixture starts to bubble. In a separate bowl, add a little of the hot butter/cream liquid to the egg yolk and whisk together. Then add the egg mixture to the hot butter/cream mixture in the pan. Continue to whisk until hot, bubbly and thick. You can add more cheese if it is not thick enough. Toss with hot cooked pasta and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve Immediately. Number Of Servings:4-6...See MoreRecipe of the day January 13 - Pork Medallions Alfredo

Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In a small bowl, mix mashed bananas with lemon juice, set aside. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. 2. In a large bowl, cream 3/4 cup butter and 2 1/8 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Stir in banana mixture. Pour batter into prepared pan. 3. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven and place directly into freezer for 45 minutes. This will make the cake very moist. 4. For the frosting: In a large bowl, cream 1/2 cup butter and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add confectioners sugar and beat on low speed until combined, then on high until frosting is smooth. Spread on cooled cake. Source: "www.allrecipes.com" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : I had to cook this for more than hour to get it cooked through, but it was very moist. Toasted chopped walnuts on top would be a nice addition. Comments (4)I thought you'd be swamped in recipes so I didn't post. I think Italian sausage will be MUCH better than ground beef. Here's a recipe I've used for years. It came off a Creamette spaghetti package. I'll give you the correct recipe with my changes. Spaghetti Italiano 1 lb. ground beef 7 oz. pkg spaghetti 1 medium onion chopped 1/2 green pepper chopped (I don't add peppers) 1 1 lb. can whole tomatoes, cut up 1 can 6 oz. tomato paste 1 can 6 oz. water 1 can 4 oz. mushroom stems & pieces (these are like rubber, use fresh if you use them) 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 bay leaf 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp. pepper Saute meat, onion and green pepper until tender. Drain off fat. Add all other ingredients and simmer about 1 hour. Remove bay leaf. Serve over buttered pasta. I usually put in more spices than they say, some garlic, and a grated carrot for sweetness. I heard the carrot idea from Melinda Lee on the radio. It cooks down and you cannot see it especially if you grate fine. Good luck. Susan...See Morecgkats7
