Interested in Sconces!

I really think I would like to put some sconces on either side of my wall-mounted television. The side of the room where the TV is located is really dark, and there are no surfaces on which to place table lamps, nor really any real estate for floor lamps, either. I think some nice simple sconces might be the answer. I am thinking it should not cost too much to have them installed by an electrician. Anyone gotten quotes lately?

At first I thought having lights near the TV would cause distraction, but I temporarily placed some lamps on either side as a test and they did not interfere with the TV at all. How high should they be mounted? I heard something like 50 or 56 inches off the floor. Does that sound right?

Here is a pic of the wall they'd be mounted on:

After a cursory search, here's one that I like:

Will try to find a similar one maybe just a tad more ornate, possibly with a round shade.

Should the top of the sconce be above, or below, or even with, the level of the TV?
