Your pool and the associated improvements are fantastic!!! It shows very well. There are some things I really didn't like and I thought it would be best served if I told you them now before you start putting in your interior pool finish. First your not going to like the entry to your slide surface, it's definitely not user friendly to make a large vertical drop like you currently have to access sliding down. Second, I really don't like all the weight over your grotto area's ledgerock roof/waterfall base which is cantilevered way on out there. Did your builder place some plate steel or 3 inch angle iron under that rock making the span from the far edge of one side to the other? I build a bunch of slide features like this and have the same look at my home. It's the MOST popular place for kids (and adults too) for climbing on and jumping off of into the water. Almost always people are underneath it at the same time. Please don't take this as me knocking your pool because I truly am not doing it for that purpose. I point things out to members exactly as I see them and would never bring it up unless I completely felt it was a concern. I see plenty of stuff on the forum pictures in which I disagree with the member's builders construction techniques but don't bring it up as it's simply cosmetic and not structurally related. Done. Tugsie, it's Tahoe Blue and came out OK. Not perfect as there are a few rough spots, but for the most part it feels really nice on the feet. For what it's worth, it's virtually identical to my brother-in-laws Pebble Sheen in look & feel, so if you're worried about the brand name, don't be. It really is all the same stuff. Like most say on here though, I think the end product all comes down to the skill of the installers. The water color is kind of light teal with just a slight greenish tint, which some people don't seem to like. I think it's gorgeous, especially against the light travertine. Take a look! yesapool, thanks for the compliment. I am still working on my landscaping. It is always a work in progress for me. It seems like every spring I find myself back out either replacing things that might have grown too large, or just adding more. This time of year though its all I can do just to maintain what I have. Its soooo hot here in Louisiana. Good luck with your landscaping, and please post some photos.

I became disenchanted with photobucket quite sometime ago and have all but stopped using it. I think the problem is that the days of "freebies" are over and sites offering those services now want to be fee based. As a result, they're not investing any of their time or resources into maintenace of the free sites. Now I either store my photos on my Apple cloud for a small monthly fee or I download them onto an external hardrive. And although it's fee based, Dropbox has been a great way to store and share family photos. My sister has been building a complete memorial file of our parents and their legacy that also includes family photos from generations ago. The annual fee is reasonable when you think about how much joy it brings to everyone. We can all save from the collection of photos or add to it. It's very special for everyone and worth every penny.
