I almost had Bianco Antico. Let me tell you that I have seen over a dozen slabs at different granite yards and they are not the same. I would take paint colors with me, or wait till I have the granite home. It will look different in the light in your kitchen. You could pick up the colors of the quartz in the tone of your paint.

I agree with lindamarie, the slabs do vary. Take paint samples to your slab and match. Although in hindsight I fretted between 2 whites, and honestly--either would have been great. I ended up going "whiter" because we used oil based paint and I expected a bit of yellowing. We used Cloud White. Love it.

I was hoping to narrow down the white choices to two or three, then make up big samples and take them to the slab. I'll have to decide on cabinet colour long before the slab will be in my kitchen, unfortunately. And of course at the granite warehouse, they have lovely flourescent lights, which won't help!

Do you have a little sample of the granite from the lot yours is from? That will give you a starting point. Take the granite piece to the paint store, and start there. I think you will like cloud white. (especially since your woodwork is that color!) I guess you should also try white dove.

I'm sure you know by now that BM offers sample sizes for all colors now. Not just the "popular" ones in those little jars.

If you do have the sample granite piece, it is nice to hold up the paint samples at home in your lighting with the granite. My thoughts on the lighting at the fabricator's place--at least both the paint sample and the granite will be in that icky light. You will be able to tell if it works. Maybe they can even move the slab for you to better light, maybe near a door.

If for some reason you don't have a piece of granite, ask if they have one for you--maybe they just did a job using that granite and have a piece they can give you. I used to keep a piece of granite, a piece of my cork floor, all my paint swatches with me in a tote bag. My husband was always amazed I could whip out my bag and produce samples. I also had pictures of the stove and hood too. Hey, you never know....

This is my granite. I never knew the official name but heard on here that it the same as yours. I tried to use white with it but went with a dark brown. I also had it in another house and had it with an old sideboard that we used as a vanity. That was more of a reddish brown. Both seemed to compliment it so well.
