Does anyone watch 'Bones' on Monday nights?

Did you watch last Monday where Booth took a bullet aimed at Tempe? It was a great episode, she was singing "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" when the stalker chick aimed at her and Booth got in the line of fire. (And singing quite nicely, I think, too.)

I predict he makes it, because the show would suffer without him and I don't think he's the type to want out this early in the series. What do you think?

This is such a great show, the writing is superb and witty and we enjoy it so much. We've read the Kathy Reichs books and I really enjoy the show more, it's faster-paced and more entertaining. The shrink, Sweets? He just cracks us up. The whole cast is great, really.

Tonight is the season finale. I hope we hear about Booth in it.

Booth has to live--it would be horrible for the show if he died.

This is definitely one of my favorite shows. I agree that the casting was great--all the characters bring a lot to the storylines. I'm a huge fan of Kathy Reichs' books also.

I don't usually watch it, but sometimes flip to that channel so I don't miss 'House' which is one of my favorite shows.

I did see the last half of 'Bones' last week and I agree that Tempe is a pretty good singer! I think Booth will pull through although you may have to wait till next season to find out. Those darn producers, they keep us in suspense for the whole summer! lol

Last year (I think it was last year) I got interested in 'Windfall', went crazy all summer wondering what happened and then the show got cancelled. I still have a crush on one of the guys from that show (don't tell DH).

Dena, I remember when my DH was laid off. Even though he hated the job he was laid off from, it was very difficult for both of us, anyway. I hope your DH ends up with a better job, and things go well for you. I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. BTW, my DH found a job he liked much better, but paid a fraction of what he was making before. In the end, the happiness in the job is much more important than the money. I forgot about Libby being in the hospital with Hurley. I'm sure this is all leading up to a big season finale cliffhanger, but what can they do to top what they've done so far? I didn't pay any attention to that clue thing. It's a gimmick for the local news station and their sweeps. I don't watch that channel much any more for news since they've gotten a lot more trashy than they used to, and I like Kristine Kahanek's (sp?) weather reports the best. Sally

I swore to myself that I wasn't gonna watch The Bachelor this time around, but when I read that one of the "dates" involved being on the set of General Hospital I knew I had to watch at least this episode. Years ago I was invitied to be on set at General Hospital for a day of taping and it was awesome, so I wanted to see what they were going to do... Anyway, I set the DVR to record it, then buzzed through most of it. So, I don't know "who's who" except that I do know which one is Stephanie (the widow, right?). She looks way older than Jason (to me, anyway), and her face is so tight that I'd swear she's either had plastic surgery or was dosed up with Botox right before she left to be on the show. I saw absolutely no chemistry between them at all, and I was surprised that he kept her and sent the other one home from that two-on-one date. And the one who "ordered" him to give her a rose -- wow. She's a piece of work. I was glad he sent her home at the end.

They don't live in Florida, either. So after 6 years in Florida, we moved to Tennessee, and my kids (2 were born in FL, and one didn't remember living anywhere else) saw them for the first time. I grew up around them in Ohio, so while I had missed the summer tradition, I wasn't surprised by them. I didn't think to point them out to my kids and identify them. I had a good laugh when they all dropped their mouths open and pointed "What is THAT?" It was fun, they were just the right age to be amazed by them. I think maybe the bugs need cold ground for their larvae stage? Anyone know? Seems like that's what I read once. That's whey they aren't in climates that don't get a cold winter. We see a few here, lucky to see 5-6 a night, not like we'd see in Ohio or even Tennessee. Once in TN I read that scientists needed them for research, and would be in town collecting captured lightning bugs on certain days in August. You were supposed to capture them, then put the entire container in the freezer where they would, of course, die. But you had to keep them frozen. So we'd catch 30-40 a night, freeze the jars, then the next day transfer the dead, frozen bugs to a larger container. Then store them in the freezer until the collection time. Even then, you were supposed to bring them in a container, in a cooler packed with ice. They could not thaw out after that first freezing, could not get wet and have ice on them. We had hundreds of dead lightning bugs in our freezer. They were buying the lightning bugs, I don't remember the price, but it wasn't much. We figured if we even had 500-600 we'd be lucky to buy one milkshake with our profit. LOL. It was just a fun summer diversion. Then we ended up having to move a few days before the collection date, so we never did get to turn them it. I offered them to a couple neighbors to carry on the project, but no took me up on it, just looked at me like I was nuts. Go figure. Sorry, that got long. People tell me I have a story for everything. When I've had too much caffeine, I tell them all!

It wasn't on here in Canada. Did flip throught but not nothing. I don't want to watch it anyways. Don't feel its right seeing an unbalanced mom getting tons of money for doing something she shouldn't be doing. Those kids, all of them need loving caring homes with balanced parents who can care for them. Yes, the parents have done too much to make her that way. And as for Jon and Kate, I used to like watching their show but as time went on, got tired of the screaming from Kate. Seeing Jon miserable and unhappy and harrassed. Seeing the kids being hauled around, made to wear clothes for show when going out somewhere. And now being a single parent, its all talk about her and what she must do for her kids and will and blah, blah, again all about Kate. Its the kids I feel sorry for in both families. And why they continue on Jon and Kate show is beyond me. People do not watch to watch those two. And the show are ones they did way back, like the kitchen being redone, the cupboards it said it was January 2009. And I read on yahoo news that Kate went after Jon for the babysitter he chose. Can you believe that these kids have all kinds of different babysitters,etc. looking after them. parents bouncing back and forth and Jon locking the gates on their mom so she couldn't get in after the baby sitter. I go unreal, who wants to watch their show? Its not about the kids anymore, its about Kate and Jon and which one is telling the truth and who said what and on and on. I don't like Octomom at all and I don't want to see it at all.

I watch it Flamey.

I didn't used to watch it because way before the television programme I had read all the Kathy Reichs books that the show is based on. I remember being on a waiting list to buy her first book before it was even released. Tempe in the books is older and has an ex husband and a daughter that works for the FBI. I couldn't wait for the tv show and when I watched the first episode I was so disappointed they portrayed Tempe as a much younger woman. LOL Unlike you Flamey, I preferred the books.

I did start watching it again last season and the show is starting to grow on me and I enjoy watching it now.

I thought the episode where Booth was shot was really good. I really like "Sweets" too and how Bones and Booth tease him. Cracks me up. LOL

I am looking forward to watching it tonight. I always tape it though because I usually watch something else at that time. I think Booth will live another day.

I think the way last night's episode played out I'm probably going to stop watching it.

I was not happy with the way it turned out because I really liked Zack's character. But I'm glad that Booth is OK...and I will continue to watch it.

I agree, last night was a bit disappointing. To me, it's like the writers didn't know until the last second who they were going to pin the "insider/mole" role on, for them to stick Zach with it was so lame. And then poof, the Gormagon thing is solved and over, too, because Zach figured out where his "leader" lived. Lame, lame, lame.

I just knew Booth couldn't be dead, all during the funeral I kept saying "he's not dead, he's going to pop up any second" and then boom, there he was, fully healed only 2 weeks after a gunshot wound in the chest. Yeah, right.

The last episode, where Booth got shot, was supposed to be the series finale, but the writers came off their strike soon enough to shoot more episodes, messing up their plan. They should have used all that time off writing up or dreaming up better plot lines!

Hey Flamey! Don't watch the show, but have gone thru 4 pages of posts about you heading to FL this weekend. Have a safe trip & FYI....not sure if you & Woody stay south of Park Blvd....(on Gulf Blvd) but from Park, going north to the Pub...there's LOTS of construction & 1 way traffic going on-they're widening the road...best to avoid when you can. Oh-I told all of the local watering holes to get their "Marguerita Specials" ready for your arrival on Tues or Wed.!!!

I haven't liked any of the endings on the TV series I watch. All have been strange.
