No, I missed it. I did just go though and see her on TMZ where she admits her mistakes and that her past decisions were not in the best interest of her 6 children before all the babies were born.

I think it is good that she has quit lying to the public and to herself. Now maybe she can get some help for herself. Admitting things is the first step in healing.

Jon and Kate lost 700 million viewers since the announcement of the break-up and the new season earlier this month. I imagine they will lose more viewers and the show will be dropped soon.

I didn't even know it was on but I doubt I would have watched....When you think about it, all those kids/babies, that's the sad part...Those babies didn't ask to be born into a family like that....Such a shame....

No. I'm not interested. I do feel sorry for the kids. How do you know what you see on those reality shows are real. They are staged and for entertainment or shock value, so why waste your time watching unless you do find it entertaining. I don't.

Do feel sorry for those kids though. I'll bet they don't stay together for more than a few years before foster care gets them. What a shame.

Well Jon and Kate still got about 1/2 million more viewers than Mad Men last week so I wouldn't say they are suffering, ratings-wise. They still do pretty well compared to their 'normal' pre-scandal ratings. Their high 10-million rating was just an anomaly due to the scandal.

I haven't really seen much of Octomom in the press so I was curious to see what was going on but it seemed to be just what I expected. I'd rather turn the show on than have my tax dollars paying for her kids. Sadly, media and government programs seem to be her only two options.

I did watch a bit of it between other shows and was appalled when the two year old slapped her in the face and called her a Bi**h! She tried to put him in time out and he refused. Said she does not believe in punishing children, just tries to model good behavior. My question: Where did he learn the above ?????? I couldn't watch after that.

My TV would implode if that garbage was on it. I would not watch one second of that crazy b!tch . As for Jon and Kate . I never watched despite the fact that they live around here. But then when it got juicy, I watched snippets of it. However last week it got so boring i could watch paint dry with more excitement. Who the heck even cares about these people? Now the headlines are she IS having an affair with the married bodyguard. She and Jon have NO morals and I pity the kids.

I watched off and on. Her life is such a sad state of affairs - starting with her childhood. Her mother really bothered me. I understand much of her feelings about so many children, but after listening to some of what she said, and hearing her father, it appeared as if she was really embittered by having to rais children. It was if it had been a chore and nothing else; as if she was angry with her daughter for being born and giving her that responsibility. I had to turn it off. As I continuted to watch a few more times, I grew more sad because although she is "trying" to take care of all of the children, there is no way to give the - babies, the experience of touch as they should have it.

I did notice some of the behavioral problems mentioned here and elswehere, and no matter my reaction to this situation, I have to say, I've seen that and worse in families with only one child.

I cannot judge this; I shouldn't judge this. I just pray that it all works out. I'm happy my family loved me and wasn't afraid to show it.

I didn't know it was going to be on last night. I assume it will be weekly? Yes, I will watch it. How could I have any opinion about it if I didn't watch it?

There are many shows on TV that I don't watch, because some or so bizarre, or lame, that to me they are not worth watching. I often see TV shows mentioned here that many KTers watch, and discuss, but they are shows that I don't watch.

It all comes down to our own likes and dislikes. I think this Octomom show might gave us a different view on a lot of subjects and situations that are going on all around us.

I don't think it is going to be a weekly show, at least not in the US. I'm thinking she has a contract with some foreign production co. I'd be interested in knowing what the ratings were last night. I hadn't heard anything about it being on, but then I don't watch much of the network TV.

Well I just checked the ratings and she came in 4th last night per the link below. Another site says she came in 3rd in the ratings.

It was just a 2 hour special per the article.

Don't feel its right seeing an unbalanced mom getting tons of money for doing something she shouldn't be doing. Those kids, all of them need loving caring homes with balanced parents who can care for them.

Yes, the parents have done too much to make her that way.

And as for Jon and Kate, I used to like watching their show but as time went on, got tired of the screaming from Kate. Seeing Jon miserable and unhappy and harrassed.

Seeing the kids being hauled around, made to wear clothes for show when going out somewhere.

And now being a single parent, its all talk about her and what she must do for her kids and will and blah, blah, again all about Kate.

Its the kids I feel sorry for in both families.

And why they continue on Jon and Kate show is beyond me. People do not watch to watch those two.

And the show are ones they did way back, like the kitchen being redone, the cupboards it said it was January 2009.

And I read on yahoo news that Kate went after Jon for the babysitter he chose.

Can you believe that these kids have all kinds of different babysitters,etc. looking after them. parents bouncing back and forth and Jon locking the gates on their mom so she couldn't get in after the baby sitter.

Its not about the kids anymore, its about Kate and Jon and which one is telling the truth and who said what and on and on.

In the beginning I initially enjoyed Jon and Kate, them being a young couple with a bunch of sweet little kids.

Now it no longer seems like it is about the children, and I find it very sad for the little ones, and Kate annoys me, trying to play the martyr and complaining all the time about the situation.

She was always a little bossy and pushy, but as time went one, poor ole Jon couldn't open his mouth, and things just got worse and worse until he got out of the mess.

I did watch and found it disturbing. The older "batch" is quarrelsome, hit and bite. And the little 2 year old, hits her repeatedly and calls her b1tch. And he's in the "older" batch!

The newborns cry when she picks them up. Opposite any baby reactions I've experienced.

And the story she told about locking her mother in the car trunk and purposely swerving to hear her thump around and laughing about it had me about crazed.

She foresees a large happy loving family. I foresee 14 people who hate their mother.

I agree with Breen, that kid who slaps her and uses the B word needs a good spanking. Time outs and "Mommy loves you" aren't working. I won't watch again.

It was spelled out on the screen - because you couldn't really hear the child saying it that clearly. Appears that they really wanted to place emphasis on that. Whatever gets ratings, and that kind of stuff boosts them pretty high.

We are only seeing a few moments in the day and life. As I said above, there is a lot going on and I really can't judge. I've seen much worse, only with fewer children around. I don't know what really happens other than I know she knows she "made a mistake" - things got very out of hand for her, very quickly. She will try to work it out. Short of anything illegal or majorly immoral, anything is game for trying to take care of them all.
Unfortunately, she's got a lot of years ahead of her to get through. She isn't very mature but that's probably in the genes. My prayers are that those children will continue to be loved; that she won't tire of them as her mother seemed to have been with her.

I watched Octomom for a little while. Now let me say, I've watched some bad reality shows in the past, but this one was really bad. I couldn't even keep it on.

Octomom is just not all there. I think she thinks that this is her path to stardom and the babies are an afterthought. It's like she plays a character while the cameras are rolling. I don't think she is really thinking about the future. Any sane person would be terrified of how to properly care for all these babies/children emotionally, financially etc etc. But it's like she doesn't stop to think about that now. I seriously think something is wrong with her, and I don't mean that in a joking way like she's nuts.

Were it to be available in Canada ...

... I think that I might find watching it rather chilling.

So ... perhaps I'd wait to watch Octo-mom till Octo-brr-r-r.
