Last summer motorists saw a garbage bag being thrown out onto our expressway. It had 4 kittens in it. The owner was driving an Escalade! Lots of money, but no heart. To the best of my knowledge no charges were laid though.

oh how precious! he looks just like my Garfield kitty that I dearly miss so much. You are so lucky, the red cats are so much fun and have such great personality. Some day I may break down and get another. You were meant to have that furbaby you know it when it just works out that way.

I had an orange cat once. He was in a shelter, had been in a fight and had a bandage on his side. I took him home and the wound healed fine but he always had a bald spot. His name at the shelter was "OJ" which I chsanged to "Otis" , after a character on the Andy Griffith show. He lived a long life, I've had many cats since but no red-heads.

My DD rescued an orange feral cat whose face had been chewed up by something (rats perhaps) when he was just a couple weeks old. I'd show you a pic of him after it happened but I don't want to spoil anyone's weekend. He (Jack) turned out to be the sweetest thing and DD just loves him so much. Wish I could have a cat. But I travel and work too much and our house is too small for a cat box, seriously. :-(

What a precious angel! All too often, I see little kittens dead in the middle of the road....where someone tossed him out. Thank you for giving him such a good home. Special blessings on all!

Oh my gosh! He's so darn cute! Look at that little fat tummy...you two are so wonderful to take him in. It brings tears to my eyes to think of someone throwing those little creatures out a car window. :-(

I love his name and I know his new furry family will welcome him into the family soon. Can't wait to hear all the stories and see the great pictures.

Thanks, everybody! We're lucky to have him, I don't feel like we did anything major, we're suckers for kittens.

Auntie Jodi, Gravey is a wee bit miffed, growling in every octave and a few hisses today, but less than yesterday. :) We are just letting the older cats have little peeks of Bizbee, since the baby wants to jump on them and they will not stand for that indignity! And the black cat must remind the baby of his mom, because he keeps going for Sammie's tummy, much to Sammie's disgust. Hopefully in a few days, they'll be more accepting. Parker is doing better, but she accepted Gravey with no problems, too.

Bizbee had a little nap on the bed with Daddy today, which was cute. I needed to pawn him off as he makes me hold him in the crook of my arm and I can't do anything with just one hand. :)

Gosh, he's a cute little guy, very fun and so smart! You can just see his mind working things out. This is our 4th orange cat, they really are the neatest ones.

I, too, love orange kitties. I had one named Rico. His name was Rico Ratso Rizzo, like in Midnight Cowboy. He had a noticeable limp when he was a baby. But he outgrew it. Rico lived to be 19.

Hmmmm.we have matching tossed away cats! (Well,almost,Spitz is a little lighter) I didn't want Spitz when I fished him out of my pond. But we kept him and he's the nicest and biggest cat we have. He got HUGE! You found a good home little Bizbee!

Thanks again, everyone! Wow, he's learning at an amazing pace and getting so wily and fast, he's a real pistol. The more room we give him to explore, the more he wants. He's hard to catch, too, because if he isn't ready for a nap, he's on the move and doesn't want to get locked back into his room, where it's safe for him to be alone.

He went up the stairs to my craft area today like he was born to run up stairs, no hesitation at all! I would have thought he'd at least have to stop and think "what is this?" when he saw stairs for the first time. No, not him! He was like Rocky Lite, lol.

We're loving him, he's very entertaining!
