You know the kind with ALCOHOL. Going to the cabin for the weekend and this sounds goooooddddd!!!

Believe it or not, most bars use bottled mixers. It is the easiest way to go if you are traveling to another location. Why haul a lot of fresh fruit and herbs, sugar and whatever to the vacation location. At home it would be different since one would probably have all the ingredients in the fridge and pantry and there would be no waste either.

This is one I like. It uses Stevia so the calories are greatly reduced.

I had this at my sister in laws, it was great!

5th of vodka
2 liters Mt Dew
1 can oj concentrate
12 oz can frozen lemonade
1/4 cup powdered sugar 2 cups cranberry juice

Mix and freeze to slush makes 2 gallons.

Here is my favorite recipe for peanut butter cookies..... ~2 cups peanut butter ~2 cups sugar ~2 eggs ~1 teaspoon vanilla ~Preheat oven to 350. Grease cookie sheets. ~Beat peanut butter and sugar in bowl until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla ~Roll dough into 1" balls and place 2" apart on cookie sheet. With tines of fork, press crosshatches to flatten. ~Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool on rack. For this recipe, I've found that natural peanut butters (the kind you have to stir together) do not work well. I also like to vary it by adding different kinds of chips. Chocolate, peanut butter and white chocolate are all good. I also don't usually bother to flatten them with a fork and they still come out fine.

Spaghetti Meat Sauce 2 cloves garlic 1 large onion, minced 1 pkg. mushrooms, sliced 1 28 oz. can whole peeled tomatoes, crushed with hands 1 28 oz. can tomato puree 1 6 oz. can tomato paste 1 handful chopped parsley 2 T. olive oil 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage 1 lb. hot Italian sausage 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. oregano 2 tsp. basil 2 T. salt 1 bay leaf 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp. sugar 1 handful freshly grated parmesan Saute' onion, mushrooms in oil until onions are soft but not browned, add garlic saute' till aromatic. Remove from pan and put in large pot. Brown meat and sausage. Drain fat and put meat mixture in large pot with onion mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Cook uncovered an hour or so. Adjust seasonings as needed

Looked at Rachel Ray's and the picture just didn't look good. This one sounds delicious! I have never had mac and cheese with broccoli. Macaroni and Cheese with Broccoli This macaroni and cheese is enhanced, both nutritionally and flavor-wise, with fresh or frozen broccoli. The Gruyere cheese is great, but eel free to replace it with Swiss cheese or use more Cheddar cheese. Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Total Time: 50 minutes Ingredients: 8 ounces elbow macaroni 1 cup broccoli florets fresh or frozen 4 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour 2 cups milk, low fat is fine 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 cup whole-wheat bread crumbs Instructions: In a medium saucepan, cook macaroni according to package directions, until slightly firm. Drain well. Cook the broccoli following package directions, on the stovetop or in the microwave. Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease a 2-quart baking dish. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, stirring for about 1 minute, until smooth and bubbly. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened, about 3 minutes, remove from heat. Reserve 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and stir remaining cheddar, Gruyere, Parmesan, salt, and cayenne into sauce until cheeses melt. Add macaroni and broccoli to sauce. Pour into prepared baking dish. If you like shrimp this recipe is super easy and exceptionally good! Quick Shrimp Chowder 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 medium onion, chopped 2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans cream of potato soup, undiluted 3 1/2 cups milk 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper 1 1/2 pounds medium-size fresh shrimp, peeled* 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese Garnish: chopped fresh parsley Oyster crackers (optional) Preparation Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; add onion, and sautÃ¯Â¿Â½ 8 minutes or until tender. Stir in cream of potato soup, milk, and pepper; bring to a boil. Add shrimp; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, 5 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink. Stir in cheese until melted. Garnish, if desired. Serve immediately. Serve with oyster crackers, if desired. *1 1/2 pounds frozen shrimp, thawed; 1 1/2 pounds peeled crawfish tails; or 3 cups chopped cooked chicken may be substituted. This sounds so yummy and refreshing:

Mojito slushy

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup fresh lime juice, about 4 to 6 limes
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, firmly packed
2 limes, zested
1/2 cup light rum
8 cups crushed ice
Mint sprigs and lime wedges, for garnish
Directions
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the sugar and water. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until the sugar is dissolved and the syrup is clear. Set aside to cool.

Put the sugar syrup, lime juice, mint leaves, lime zest, and rum into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the ice and blend until slushy. Spoon into glasses; garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime slice.

Made this for years!! It is very good!

Apricot Slush
1 qt pineapple juice
1 qt apricot juice ( I think I had to buy apricot nectar)
12 oz frozen lemonade
12 oz frozen orange juice
1 pint apricot brandy
1 cup vodka
Mix and freeze in ice cream pail. To serve fill glass half full. Then add 7-Up or Squirt to fill the glass.
These are fantastic! Just watch out they pack a punch! LOL

Now this one I haven't made, I kept wanting to and everyone was satisfied with the apricot stuff. lol

Frozen Daquiris
4 large cans frozen lemonade and 2 cans water
2 small cans frozen limeade and 1 can water
3 lg bottles 7-Up
1- 5th Bacardi rum (light)
Blend together and freeze in small containers. Take out as much as needed and thaw to a slush about 1 hour before serving.
**I am pretty certain our grocery store doesn't carry the 6oz cans anymore so you'd need to do 1 lg can limeade with a half of can of water**
