Punch/Slush Recipes

Hello everyone. Someone had asked a few weeks ago for my slush recipes. I am so sorry that I had not gotten them to you yet, but I just posted several of them on the Kitchen Table Forum. Check them out. They are delicious and can be made ahead of time and frozen.

I tried to find your recipes for the punch. The posts don't
go back that far. I'm looking for a good recipe for punch for about 50 people. I'm having a birthday party for my mom who will be 90. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hey Linda,
Here are a few:
Vodka or Rum Slush (I like it with rum) Real Good!
1cup water
1cup sugar ( I only put 1/2 cup)
1 2 liter bottle of 7-up
46oz. can Pineapple Juice
6oz. can frozen Orange Juice
10oz. jar of cherries with juice
2 cups Rum or Vodka
Mix and Freeze

Whiskey Sour Slush
1/5 bourbon
3qts. Ginger Ale
1 lg. can Pineapple Juice
2 lg. cans frozen Orange Juice
4 oz. Real Lemon Juice
Mix and Freeze

Amaretta Slush (Real Good)
1 can Pineapple Juice (large)
3 cups Amaretta or Almond Favored liquer
1 6oz. can frozen lemonade or orange juice
1 3 liter Lemon Lime or Sprite
Mix and Freeze

Pina Colada Slush
1 can Pineapple Juice
2 12oz. cans frozen Lemonade
3 c. water
1 15oz. Creme Coconut
1 3liter Sprite, 7-up or Lemon Lime
Mix and Freeze

Margarita Slush (real good)
4 12oz. Frozen Limeade
3 qts. Water
3 cups Triple Sec or other orange flavored liquer
3 cups Tiquila
2 (2liter) Sprite, Lemon Lime or 7-Up
Mix and Freeze

Of course, this is not enough for that many people,but you would have to make enough accordingly. All of these recipes are really good, but I have my favorites.
Good Luck and enjoy.These are so good to make ahead of time and keep in the freezer. When company comes, you already have frozen drinks ready to go down!! LOL

I make this punch for Thanksgiving. The kids love having their own special drink, and it's not too sweet for adults (who have been known to lace their individual cups with a splash of vodka...) APPLE HARVEST PUNCH 2 Cups Chilled Cranberry Juice (not as sweet as the cocktail) 2 Cups Apple Cider 1 l/2 Cups Orange Juice 2 Cups Chilled Club Soda The recipe I found calls for thin orange slices and frozen cranberries to be floated in it. But in place of frz. cranberries, I usually freeze additional cranberry juice in a ring mold and put that in before serving to help keep chilled without diluting. And in place of the oranges, I very thinly slice red delicious apples crosswise and float them in the punch. Doing apples instead of oranges sets you up for the "red" flavors that make it a holiday punch. They also differentiate it from all the citrus/sherbert punches.

Made this for years!! It is very good! Apricot Slush 1 qt pineapple juice 1 qt apricot juice ( I think I had to buy apricot nectar) 12 oz frozen lemonade 12 oz frozen orange juice 1 pint apricot brandy 1 cup vodka Mix and freeze in ice cream pail. To serve fill glass half full. Then add 7-Up or Squirt to fill the glass. These are fantastic! Just watch out they pack a punch! LOL Now this one I haven't made, I kept wanting to and everyone was satisfied with the apricot stuff. lol Frozen Daquiris 4 large cans frozen lemonade and 2 cans water 2 small cans frozen limeade and 1 can water 3 lg bottles 7-Up 1- 5th Bacardi rum (light) Blend together and freeze in small containers. Take out as much as needed and thaw to a slush about 1 hour before serving. **I am pretty certain our grocery store doesn't carry the 6oz cans anymore so you'd need to do 1 lg can limeade with a half of can of water**

LEETE'S ISLAND GARDEN CLUB PUNCH (1 gallon) 2 cups strong tea 4 cups water, divided 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 cinnamon stick 12 whole cloves 2 cups cranberry juice 6 oz can frozen orange juice concentrate 6 oz can frozen grapefruit juice concentrate 6 oz can frozen lime juice concentrate 6 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate 1/2 can ( 6 oz size) frozen pineapple juice concentrate or to taste 1 qt ginger ale, optional Mint leaves, optional Vodka or rum, optional Pour the freshly brewed tea into a large bowl or stainless steel pot. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of the water w/the sugar, cinnamon stick & cloves & simmer, covered for at least 20 minutes. Strain, cool & add to the tea. Pour in the cranberry juice, orange juice concentrate, grapefruit juice concentrate, lime juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate, pineapple juice concentrate & remaining 3 cups water, stirring until the frozen juices have melted. When you're ready to serve the punch, pour it over ice in a large punch bowl & add the ginger ale, if using. Float some mint leaves on top (if using,) or make a frozen ice mold.
