I moved to the house two years ago and it's been the same since. The door works fine (until now, but this seems to be an unrelated problem). The spring is there but it seems loose or disconnected. You're right, maybe it's time to call a repairman. Just look in the yellow pages?

Hi ravencajun, Thanks for the information, I put this in my favorites so that I can go back and research those later. I hope you don't mind but I do have another question about those type of programs. I have never used Quick Time or itunes, they were on my computer when I had it built. My question is what are the purpose of these programs and what are they used for? Please give me an example. I was use to Media Player because of my music and I learned how to put some music into the Media Player. I know there are programs out there that you can use for music n't open media player why?" size=40> Message: Optional Link URL:    Name of the Link: Information about Posting You must be logged in to post a message. I would download the itunes installer from Apple and run it without uninstalling. It should recognize that there is an existing installation and do a repair or something along those lines. But I would install with the installer rather than just trying the new updates. It could be that the files you're missing are files that aren't used all the time.

HTH - Hope this helps. An executable shouldn't need anything but a double-click to open it. Since your first download was corrupt, did you download the same file from a different location? I'm not familiar with Google Desktop. I always use Windows File Manager in lieu of Windows Explorer. Terry
