Aqua qtz looks great with green tiles, but if you prefer a little darker look combine 3-verde with 12 french grey..very nice

Do not rely on photos, especially if you are viewing them on your computer monitor!!!!!!!

Ask your pool man to take you to see (or to arrange for you to go see without him) some pools that have the color finishes that you are considering.

But, I wanted to post a picture of the pool we built at our last house that had a classic Diamond Brite with green tiles just so you could see it. I think it looks fine together. :)

Yes, Kristi it does look good together. Thanks for the photo. I just really could not envision the blue water with green tiles. I have seen the french blue alot in the Baton Rouge area where my pool man has taken me. I like the color, but was worried about the blue water with my green tiles. While I liked the french blue, but I have not been crazy about alot of the glazed blue tiles I've been seeing with the old red brick coping. Thats why I chose green tiles. I just happen the love green and red together. My tiles are unglazed, kind of antique with a natural stone finish. My brick are a shades of red. I am also doing one diamond shape with 4 6" antique looking red deco tiles in the center of my wall where my spillways will go as kind of a mosaic to pull the red and green together. If anyone else has pictures, I still like looking at them even though I know all about monitors. I actually am a photographer and my monitor is color calibrated with eye one. I even open pool photos up in photoshop and do color correction there also so that I can get the best idea of what these pools will look like. I think that the biggest problem with looking at photos according to SGM, are factors like depth, lighting, surroundings such as trees etc...So, even looking at pools in person doesn't mean that I will get the exact same look in mine.

steve, that pool is pretty. What color are the tiles? My pool man showed me pools in Prairieville which is right by you. Yours is very similar to alot that he's done. He seems to enjoy that style. He hates my formal roman shaped pool. More than that, he hates my green tiles, especially the old looking ones. I have a house full of french antiques, so what can I say, its what I like. I would love to see your pool if I could manage before we do the diamond brite. They are outside now as I type this doing the coping and tile. This guy move fast too. We only signed the contract a little over two weeks ago. My son plays football and homecoming game is tonight with festivities and dance tomorrow night. I will contact you though if I know for sure that I can make it out there. My sister is also a building contractor in Prairieville and lives on alligator bayou. Thanks again for the photo.

our tile is grayish with a little blue and redish-orange mixed in, i think it's npt's az606 if I recall correctly. (picked this in an attempt to pull the water/plaster/brick together).

the more pools you can visit..(and quickly now) will benefit you.

we live off bluff road, backed up to alligator bayou.

The mojave beige was just not very pretty like I said in the previous post. I did end up going with the french gray and verde. I am posting a pic of my pool so that you can see what it looks like.
