Ralph Lauren paints are sold at other specialty paint stores.
The paint stores that carry BM will most likely carry it.
Did you call the store in your area that carries BM ?

If not go to a specialty paint store with the color chip and get it matched (maybe just a sample)and test it .

My BM store salesman always puts the paint formula on the lid of the can. Does yours have this? If it does, you could probably duplicate with BM; just be sure the bases are the same.

I did enter my zip code in the link you've supplied forboystoo, selected paint and no results were returned in my state. The nearest stores would require a trip of multiple days.

Is Ralph Lauren Paint associated with BM then? I do have the paint can and remaining paint, but I've lost the paint chip. There is a formula on the lid of the can. Does BM have the same base as Ralph Lauren? If so, then that sounds like a fantastic option. I can try swinging by one of the locations BM's store locater returns (mostly Ace Hardware stores in my area).

Check your local Home Depot or Lowe's. One or the other in my area sells RL paint. I can picture the display, but can't remember which store it is.

Do you have an ICI paint store ? They make RL .
At my independent BM store they carry RL.(Benjamin Moore no longer has their own stores)
I guess to get closes to the paint base you should go with a color match to Martha Stewart.

Since the paints are in different rooms a color match to any brand should be fine .If you copy the formula on the can it will be off due to the bases being different.

Bases are different, colorants are different...so light gets reflected differently. If you were just matching to a color chip you liked rather than paint you've actually experienced, you'd likely be happy. Trying to replicate the experience of your paint in another brand is a crap shoot, though, especially with white. It might work...and it might not. Get a nice solid patch dried on a paint stick, take it somewhere with a spectrometer, and get a trial quart. I'm not familiar with RL colors, but the closer to pure white it is, the trickier it could be. Hope for the best, but don't expect perfect results and you'll probably be fine.

Benjamin Moore supports independent dealers. That's why when you go to a dealer that carries BM you may also find Pratt & Lambert,Donald Kaufman,Fine paints of Europe and also Ralph Lauren.
At a Sherwin Williams store you will find Sherwin Williams Paint.
Maybe that's just in CA.
Start by calling the stores that carry BM...One of them is bound to have RL as well.

BM does support independent dealers, but I was certainly under the impression that some of these are BM only stores. It looks that way from the site, but I'm not trusting my memory on it at this point.

Thank you all for the great information. I will try calling some of the stores returned on the BM store finder to ask if they carry RL. My Lowes never carried RL and unfortunately my HD has replaced RL with Martha Stewart. Maybe I can also just search for general paint stores in my city and call to see if they carry RL even though nothing shows up on the RL store finder.

I would say the white is really close to a true white. I was specifically looking for a white that would not make my white tiles look dirty or vice versa. RL 'Grand' was really close to the color of the tiles, leaving the tiles just slightly more white.

While I would not be concerned if the white isn't exactly what the RL 'Grand' looked like, I was hoping to find the same paint so I do not need to spend weeks trying to decide which white paint to use. I would prefer not to paint multiple times because I do not want to have to remove the fixtures after we install them. (I'm doing the work myself with the help of my father.)

I will call around locally to see if anyone carries RL. If that doesn't work out, I will pick up some samples of SW and BM color matching and see if either of them works and is close to the color I want.
