I actually think it is interesting to see how a viewed ugly fabric can be made into a striking quilt. When I took my stack-n whack class, our instructions were to buy the ugliest fabric we could find, the bigger the repeat the better. Jayne -Yours is very pretty and the ugly fabric adds interesting variety. Beverly - I think everyone had great fun with this and have been good sports laughing about ourselves and our ugly fabric choices. This was a good, fun break from the winter blues. Can't wait to see your creation!

Yes, you are an "early bloomer" this month :-) Very nice, I noticed that too about not reversing the pattern this month. She's been good about it, but she just had a new grandbaby born, so she probably forgot. I am enjoying these as well. Did you cut out the flower as one piece, or individual petals? I haven't cut mine yet. I still have a catch-up April block from a LQS BOM, then I can start my Mays.

Marti, I love the fabrics, the laundry is perfect touch. like the idea of a tree block, or maybe a park ? I am working on mine at this time too, but it isn't going to be a quilt, so you'll just have to wait and see! LOL Rene
