I hope that all of Danny's supporters get behind Kris. I agree with your assessment of Adam 100%.

I get the impression that Adam knows he is going to win and is quite sure of himself. I agree, I don't like his screeching one little bit. I would love to see Kris win.

As a Gokey fan, I can tell you that I will be voting for Kris next week. At the beginning of the competition, I thought Adam was great but being overly confident is not something he is able to pull off without coming across as arrogant. I do think Adam has a lot of talent but I think all of the compliments and raves he has been getting from the judges has made him truly believe he is going to win this competition. Although this is a singing competition, personality and attitude go a long way when I'm voting.

Adam is edgy and youthful. He is a rock star, he can't look like Donny Osmond. I love his look, he's HOT!

I love both Kris and Adam. Couldn't stand Danny. I think Adam has been very humble about all the attention but don't think he assumes he is going to win. I actually think it would be better for him to come in 2nd. That way he can get a contract and do things his way and not the "Idol" way. I like that Adam can sing a soft beautiful song full of emotion or rock out. He is very versatile and has a great stage presence.

To me it's Danny that did all the screaming especially this week.

I agree that the appeal is with the younger crowd. Unfortunately, with a few exceptions, it always seems that the life expectancy of an "Idol" is about 2 years. Kids always find someone new. I will also agree that Adam seems quite humble but I do believe that he thinks it's in the bag for him to win.

I think a lot of the votes coming from the younger crowd will be for Kris, not Adam. I don't think the pre-teens and younger teens like the hard rock.. they prefer Pop which Kris can deliver.

Both are great in their own ways. I won't be disappointed in whoever wins.

No matter who wins, and I am behind Kris 100%, all 3 of them will have a super singing career. I was a Danny fan, but was leaning toward Kris the last 3 or 4 shows. Go Kris!

The younger crowd likes Kris because they are infatuated with him, not his voice. They are teeney boppers.

I think Danny is overrated and everything he sings sounds the same. I liked him for the first few shows but he got old really fast. I would not buy hid cds.

I love Kris, loved him from the beginning when others seemed to overlook him. He is cute and a great singer, I would buy his cds.

I think Adam is fantastic. He can present himself in so many ways, it's fabulous. It's not a matter of "he can't decide who he wants to be", that's just crazy. Other stars can put on different personas and have done very well for themselves (Madonna is one who comeas to mind).

I think whoever wins it is deserving.

Not sure if my 18yo DD would be considered a teeny-bopper, but she has been voting for Kris for the past few weeks. She never liked Adam -- thinks he "sounds like a woman". My DD is very versatile in her taste for music - has all genres on her mp3 player. We listen to a lot of cutting edge stuff on XM radio -- she believes Kris will have more long-term appeal among her age group. I don't think the "younger crowd" is into rock, the way we were. (I am 43.) I think there are more options out there today.

I appreciate Adam's "rock" talents, and vocal abilities, more than DD. Having said that, Kris appeals to me way more. As I said in another thread, Adam has been the same since Day 1 and never really made progress. The judges seem to look for some sort of growth each week, for contestants to "change it up a bit, step outside of your comfort zone". If that's the criteria, I don't think Adam delivered.

It kinda reminds me when Jimi Hendrix opened for the Monkees. The pre-teens were screaming for the Monkees and Booed Hendrix off the stage. I, too, think Kris is more pre-teen material

My feeling is that Adam has been at this so long he "progressed" to who he is long before American Idol. That's why it appears to some that he hasn't changed since day 1. He knows he's a performer, is comfortable on stage, with people and praise. Kris and Danny and a host of other AI contestants are still on the road to find themselves. Doesn't make them better or worse, just means they're still working and experimenting.

Adam is a great performer who has wonderful stage presence, and can pull off different looks. He also seemed quite sweet, humble and respectful to me. And wow--those gorgeous blue eyes!!!

DD and I picked Kris out of the crowd for his musical expertise back in the beginning of the finals. He's truly more talented and educated than most of the others were. I don't doubt for a second that he's going to have along career that includes writing, arranging and producing, as well as performing. He's got the skill to follow many venues in the music industry.

Danny? Well, what can you say. He got in on the sympathy vote and stayed months longer than he should have because of it. It's true that everything he sang sounded the same, AND he was just awkward-looking (uncoordinated) on stage. It was so hard to enjoy watching him when he looked so uncomfortable trying to be a stage performer. Time for him to go back to leading the church choir, I think. I just don't see people actually paying for concert tickets to see him as the headliner.

Listen to the original song "Apologize, by One Republic". That's the song Kris sang last night. That is the song I wanted Adam to sing. The reason being, Apologize is a really hard song to sing. It's chorus "It's Too Late To Apologize", is sang in a really high key that most singers cannot hit. Kris could not reach that key. If you knew that song you would know that the key was lowered in order for Kris to be able to hit the notes. Kris is good but doesn't have the voice for that song.
On the other hand he killed Kanye West "Heartless" That's what put him in the finals.

I like Kris because he is an Arkansas boy. Neither he or Adam stand out to me as Idol material. I'd love to see one of Adam's shows. I bet he is awesome on stage. He doesn't appeal to me as a singer.

Between the two, I'd like to see Kris win.

I'm with the Donnas -- Adam is my favorite. I hadn't paid attention to AI until this year, when a friend told me to check out Adam. Yowza! I've downloaded most of his mp3s. His studio version of "Feeling Good" is amazing.

Kris is good, better than Danny, and he may actually win if most of Danny's votes go to Kris next week. He'll have a great musical career, winner or not.

I think Adam was off his game this week, so I hope he "kills it" next week. I'd love to see him in a remake or restaging of Tommy -- great marriage of rock and theater. I hope he does a Who song in the finale.

How about Pink Floyd, "Dark Side Of The Moon" for Adam?
