Is it American Idol or American Cryer? I was actually getting a little teary eyed with all the crying going on. Geesh.

I won't give any spoilers, but I could've chosen 1 different girl to go home and 1 different boy. The other 2 I agreed with.

What'd you guys think of Paula's video?

I agree with you. I would have chosen one different boy and girl. The crying did get a bit much. Paula's video didn't do a lot for me either, but then that isn't the sort of thing I enjoy watching. It bounced around too much for me, I like peace and quiet when I listen to music. The senior in me is showing again! SIGH

Can't say I thought all that much of the song though I absolutely loved the dancing. Very original. Typical pop song, so I guess people will buy it. It being Randy's album with him on bass, I didn't even hear any bass in that song, just him standing there looking stupid and pretending to play.

Can't be more pleased with those who went home, especially Miss Mousy LOL. For the other three, it just as well would have been them. So many were awful Tuesday and Wednesday, you could almost flip a coin and be right no matter the toss. Thought it was awfully cruel the way Ryan broke the news to the first guy.

Yep, a whole lotta cryin goin own.

The stupid committee of drunken men who designed our original tract house created a number of closets with a door in center or on one side of a much wider closet, yet barely 2 feet deep at best. I have clothes closets like this and a shallower linen closet with a 27 inch door opening. The closets have hardly accessible "wings" either side of the door. You join the ranks of those design dorks at your own peril because later residents will curse you. If I could afford to tear out 27 inches of the center of my linen closet shelves in order to allow myself to walk inside and look down the wings, I would do so. If you could work out some kind of roll-outs to bring the items in the wing area into the clear vision of the person in the doorway, that would help. Look at blind corner units and imagine them in a taller space.

"What I was tring to say tho was technically you can not get 20 amps from each plug at the same time. That is impossible. The duplex is only good for 20 amps" Yes you can get 20 amps from each outlet at the same time. The upper and lower receptacle are connected by the metal tabs on the side of the outlet, cut those metal tabs and now you can install a 20 amp circuit on the top, and a 20 amp circuit on the bottom recpetacle. By doing this one could now run their 20 amp saw from the top receptacle, and their 20 amp heater from the bottom recepetacle. This is exactly why it is called a "duplex receptacle" as others have mentioned. It is called a "duplex" because it has (2) 20 amp receptacles on it.

Antmary - 10 flowers - that is impressive - that is what I would expect from my experience with Brandy Boy - you should have a prolific plant! Interesting observation about the leaves! I noticed Yolo's plant leaves are more similar to your plant (nice tomato Yolo!). I went back and looked at our plants when they were even younger than yours - and the leaves are very large. It must be a function of my soil and fertilizer? Which plant will produce bigger/better tomatoes? Perhaps your plant - as much of my plant's energy appears to be going to the leaves? It may not be a function of pruning as the photo shows my plant before I prune suckers? It may be a GH affect? I am sure Carolyn would have an answer !

Missing out on all the fun here after reformatting my entire disk drive for two nights, uggg, and days straight :-( pennypond, I love your innovative cage/trellis support system - it really looks sharp! What an excellent use of that Hortonova webbing. I'm thinking about getting some to hang horizontally in my hoop where my plants are out of control, like a cheap version of what Hudson has in his GH! I bet my tomatoes aren't as big as you think. The other guys have the big 'uns, I'm just happy to participate and learn about this variety and see how many different growing styles everyone has. Loved your pics! forgottenone, are things heating up in Michigan yet? If not can I pipe some of our heat up there! Brandy Boy seems to be a weak plant at the beginning to me even if you have healthy seeds. I had bad seeds, and very low germination, but my sole-surviving plant is falling in line now and doing well, after a rough start. I thought Paula's video was ridiculous. Too much flashing around and reminded me of that other dance contest with the hip hop groups. I don't know if it is on VH1 (is that a channel?) or BET.

Wasn't happy with one who went home, but could see why she did.

Paula's video? It was terrible--and it HAD to jump around. If you looked very closely, she did almost NO dancing--certainly not the kind of thing she was known for in the past. Guess she just wasn't up to it, and the only way they could get movement into the piece was with the bouncing camera shots. Shame--she was such a talented dancer and she's just such a physical wreck these days. It's so sad to see her like that.

I was sorry to see Joanne go home this early, I thought it should've been Amanda. Of the boys, Colton could've stayed another week if they had ousted that mouthy Noriega boy.

I didn't mind Paula's video so much, it's the singing style nowdays that I don't like. Whatever are they doing to their voices to make everyone sound alike? On Tuesday when the one girl imitated Britney Spears ... I thought Paula's voice sounded amazingly similar. As for the dancing, it's true that she didn't really dance. But I did think the video was entertaining. She is a beautiful woman.

I hate that they tell a contestant they've been voted out of the competition, then expect them to sing.

Who wouldn't cry? I would. That's just mean.

The quality of singers is good this season, but I don't have complaints about who they sent home last night.

I thought the dancing on Paula's video was entertaining.

I agree, Petaloid. I'm sure they don't feel much like singing when they're told they're going home.

I didn't mind the video.
