sandstone - limestone - quartzite - which is best for hot climate

i live in houston TX and am looking at pool coping/facing with a SALT water pool. I'm concerned about corrosion/delamination issues. In hot climates is it better to use a more porous stone vs a nonporous one due to delamination issues?

I'd appreciate some guidance on selecting coping and facing for a RBB of 28 linear feet with scuppers pouring through and also a spa with 30 inch spillway for flagstone stacked placement, keeping in mind the salt water pool and the delamination potential with humidity if that is indeed a reason not to use quartzite.

i liked someone's pool who used limestone in dallas on her raised wall and also across her spa spillway, and i know she had salt water pool - gk something her screen name was.

please post advice on softness vs hardness of stones and which to be looking towards out of quartzite, limestone and sandstones.

thanks
