Fresh from the chicken and in an omlet. We have 10 hens and get 7-9 fresh eggs every day. I give away the majority of them and friends call me all the time. They have to bring their own carton, though! We have a winter house and have the chickens there and pass out eggs to the neighbors so no one turns us in (just in case it's illegal to have livestock in our subdivision, no rooster, just hens) We have to laugh that we are the only people to have "snowbird" chickens!

I can eat a scrambled egg or omelet now and then, but there's no way I'd ever eat an undercooked egg (runny yolk)--having had food poisoning from raw eggs once, I won't eat any egg unless it's been thoroughly and completely cooked.

Just about any way, but scrambled with pepperoni, or scrambled with tuna, green pepper and onion are my faves.

But my favorite is over easy with the whites done but the yolks runny. With a buttermilk bisquit to sop up the yolk.

Although I am not a fan of eggs, if I do eat them I they are scrambled well-done.

I like eggs just about anyway, but to chose one it would be over easy just so they are soft.

Poached with soft yolk, some freshly ground pepper, on buttered toast. Yum!! When I was very young, my mom would boil two eggs so that the yolks were still soft, chop them up in a bowl, add a little pat of butter, salt and pepper, and serve these with some hot buttered toast. Again, yum!!

Many ways, overeasy (don't like hard yolks) or sunny side up, soft scrambled, boiled, and poached. Love overeasy eggs in an egg sandwich: toasted bread with mustard, catsup, and Miracle Whip and bacon, messy but so good. Like omelets and quiche too.

Years ago, we were at the car show in Detroit. Stopped at Denny's for breakfast and I asked for my eggs over easy. They came out super runny, and had the little spermy white things still on it. I told the waitress that this was too runny for my taste.
She asked me if I was Canadian. I said yes, and she said, that's how they eat their eggs over-easy. So I had medium and they were much better.

Baked in a bacon ring! And EASY!

Poached on buttered toast is #1, and my second choice is basted/steamed (to cook the white covering the yolk) sunny side up.

Any way except no slimy white, has to be firm.

I like them any way they are served, but I am starting to prefer over-medium(yolk half cooked) rather than over-easy.

When Susan mentioned the fried egg sandwich, I got all excited for that.

Eggs are a favorite food of mine. I like them different ways at different times/moods. Basted hard is great. I really like the contrast on the whites with the creamy yolks when cooked properly but it's not easy to PROPERLY fry eggs hard. An omelet with a lot of meat & cheese, especially when they whip the eggs well so it's fluffy and thick, but there too, not many can do it right. Occasionally I like them over medium. A little runny yolk is fine with good sourdough toast to sop it up but again, fry cooks seem to only be able to handle over easy and sometimes scrambled. So if I don't know the place, I often order scrambled or an omelet to be safe. Although I can appreciate the runny yolks (but only when hot), I grew up with eggs being cooked hard no matter how they were cooked and as I get older I appreciate eggs more and more. But I don't like them so overcooked that they get too rubbery. Cooking eggs is not always easy, like I said, especially if you want them more "done". If you can't fry eggs properly then scramble and bake them. I do enjoy them that way too.

One little diner nearby has an omelet with ham, turkey, bacon, tomato and cheese in it. They use real turkey from a carcass, not the pressed deli stuff and it's great. Most places want to put onions and peppers in eggs for some reason. I don't like onions for breakfast.

Years ago at a Denny's i ordered them that way and when she brought them to me that white looked like it hadn't even touched the pan.I sent them back and told them the chicken was still alive and running around the plate!!!DH wasn't happy,he always thought you had to eat it whatever way they bring it and not make a fuss.I said not me,i'm paying for it and i want it the way i asked for it.He's since gtten used to me,and he'll even send things back now if they aren't right.

If I'm having hash browns and/or toast basted or over easy.

Without hash browns or toast I like them scrambled.

At my favorite breakfast place I like them scrambled with peppers,onions tomatoes and cloaked with cheese, in a burrito with chili,jack cheese and smothered with Spanish sauce with a side of avocado and tomato, or in a Spanish Omelet.

I like eggs best cooked and in my mouth being chewed. Yum.;0)

Don't even show me an egg with anything still mobile like a runny yolk! If I HAVE to eat an egg, I want it scrambled hard, and then probably won't finish it.

DH has a thing about poached eggs..with the white barely set and the yolk very runny. I have learned to prepare them for him, but can't be at the table when he eats them. Regurgitation time!

My favorite is in an omlette with green peppers, onions and cheese! But it has to be WELL-DONE. I don't even care if you burn it. The thought of a runny yolk or white just grosses me out!!

Local Pasture raised..I buy 2 dozen a week...and since I spend top dollar for them, I'll eat them with those orangey glowing liquid yolks whenever possible..but scrambled with cheese works too!

Gosh...this is a hard question for me since I like eggs three ways. I like over easy if I'm eating them with toast. I like scrambled with cheese if there's a bottle of ketchup handy and I like boiled eggs if there's a salt shaker nearby!!!

Almost anyway if the whites are done. I love omelets, but I like the veggies diced instead of big junks. Breakfast is the one meal I cook at home.

cynic, If I want my eggs hard I turn down the fire very low, I do not like brown (lace) on my eggs.
