I have quartz and I like it! Paid $44 per sq ft at Lowes. We have LG Viatera in Cabo. We initially wanted Allen + Roth in Grand Pacific but I think it was $55 per sqft. The seams are hardly noticeable when looking down from your normal height (i.e. when you're standing and working), but you can see them if you lean down close. I can feel the seam slightly, but nothing too severe. A cloth or sponge wouldn't catch on it. It doesn't look plasticky to me but I am not sure what you mean by that! I think the less patterned stones tend to have that Corian-ish look about them, which I don't like. Anyway, I love love LOVE that quartz is pretty much zero maintenance! We can barely see any stuff that we spill thanks to the color/pattern we chose, but it's so nice to know that it's not going to get stained, etched, etc.

I just ordered these and the samples in store look exactly like this. I actually prefer it because it feels more authentic than the shaker styles where they put a purposeful line there. Hope you are enjoying them. I looked at ikea (had to chase cabinet parts all over the place to compete the kitchen as so much is outta stock) menards Klearview cabinets that are a lot like ikea, and these which were %35 off and the most affordable option for me with the sale And all wood and semi custom. So I went with these. I went with level two because the cabinet boxes don’t need to be plywood as they aren’t moving etc. the level 2 still has soft close and plywood shelves and drawers and dove tail. looking forward to them arriving next month!

No, I wouldn’t purchase anything without viewing the slab but I’m working long distance and trying to narrow down which yard sells what in that area before I make the long drive — followed by longer drives to the various yards. Jeffrey, the reason Lowe’s gives their own names to stone is to create the marketing illusion that you cannot get it elsewhere, and to keep me from doing what I’m doing. There is no value to the consumer. A side note — I actually began shopping for quartz but I need a little reddish-brown in the stone which limits quartz options.

Researching the same thing but comparing A&R with Plywell at HD. A&R comes assembled, which is a major plus. We are looking for a laundry room, however, not the whole kitchen. I understand everyone’s point about buying quality. We are pretty tapped out (read: over budget!) on our remodel and just looking to save where we can — laundry room cabinets seemed like a good place to do it. Would anyone who has experience with either of these cabinets recommend them for a laundry room?
