I was looking at it too. I thought it was nice, but I didn't price it out yet. I have heard that the Big Box stores do not have the best prices on countertops. Good Luck!

Well, since that's Lowes store brand (Allen & Roth) there won't be any direct competition on the price elsewhere, only similar patterns in other lines.

I think Sugarbrush is about $66.00, but I like it, too. I am looking for a larger sample or picture if anyone knows of one.

The quartz surfaces seem more like real stone than the Avonite that we have now. I like carrera but am afraid of the maintenance with two children and a husband--LOL!

Does anyone have opinions/experiences with quartz and the way it looks (not too plasticky)?

I have quartz and I like it! Paid $44 per sq ft at Lowes. We have LG Viatera in Cabo. We initially wanted Allen + Roth in Grand Pacific but I think it was $55 per sqft.

The seams are hardly noticeable when looking down from your normal height (i.e. when you're standing and working), but you can see them if you lean down close. I can feel the seam slightly, but nothing too severe. A cloth or sponge wouldn't catch on it.

It doesn't look plasticky to me but I am not sure what you mean by that! I think the less patterned stones tend to have that Corian-ish look about them, which I don't like.

Anyway, I love love LOVE that quartz is pretty much zero maintenance! We can barely see any stuff that we spill thanks to the color/pattern we chose, but it's so nice to know that it's not going to get stained, etched, etc.

I am devastated with my new counters. They look totally different than the small square at the store as well as the online photo. I thought it was warm white with kind of a khaki/beige color the pattern. What I got was whiter with a grey/bluish pattern. This is after they put the wrong color cabinets. I got an off white and I wanted white white. I could not bare going another six weeks with out a kitchen. I don't know what to do. Nothing in my house is grey blue, I m all about greens white and beiges

I love the Sugarbush quartz. My home is Louisiana plantation style and the new kitchen blends in well. Updated but not super contemporary. I had Lowe's advise me when it went on sale, got a Lowe's card for the 5% off materials and installation and came in way under the budget. I bought a large white enameled sink from houzz and was very pleased with it. I used pure white on my cabinets, upper and lower, and white duck (an oatmeal color) on the walls. Used white subway tile on the back splash and I really like the white and off white combo. Now I can change the look of my kitchen with the seasons (lime in summer and red in winter) just by changing out my dish towels and a few accessories. Thanks houzz and Lowe's!
