My sink is 10" deep, and I can pull the faucet half way down. I don't know how this compares to other faucets this style. It has excellent water flow, so not a problem for me. Some may find this a bit restrictive. I have the chrome faucet. I wasn't sure how I would like this style, so I just went cheap. But so far it's help up very well, and quick to wipe down with a microfiber cloth.

I like the look also. I just purchased the Westbrass "Goshon" in Victorian bronze on ebay and have not installed yet so can't give you an actual usage report. It is great quality and I really look forward to having it installed. Some of the issues to consider when researching: Water pressure: Do you have enough for the higher arc? Height: Sounds like you have that one covered since you researched it before. Some of them look like they would take over the kitchen, stick up too high in front of the window, etc. Spout reach: Some don't reach as far as a regular pull out faucet unless you get the type with the wall attach hose. That was a little too commercial for me. Finishes: They are more limited than standard faucets. I wanted one that worked with copper and was happy to find this one in a soft bronze color. Quality: There is a cheap off brand copy of these faucets on Overstock. It has a plastic nozzle at the end of the water supply hose and has some negative reviews posted. It is the same price as the one I purchased which is all brass and seems like it could withstand anything. I found that "semi professional faucet" was a productive google phrase. Hope this helps. To chime in here--I have a Kraus 1602 (or perhaps the 1600--they are very hard to tell apart) and am very happy with it. Here are some of the features I wanted--I wanted both the sprayer and the regular mixer (spout) to have independent volume controls so that either or both could be on at one time. And I wanted a latch to lock the sprayer in the "on" position so that the spray could be used without having to hold the sprayer. Also the temperature and volume control moves from the 12 o'clock position (cold) down and toward the front of the sink for hot water. This is great if you are worried about the space between the back of your sink and the backsplash. The one issue is that you need to give plenty of space between the hole for the faucet and any hole for the soap or hot-water dispenser that will be to the right of the faucet--at least 6". There was nothing special about the installation and it seems very solid. We use ours with a Touch Master foot pedal and it is a great combination, but I don't think guests will be able to use our sink. I'm going to have to write up instructions. I haven't really needed any more of a backsplash for a couple of reasons: 1. Most of the time, I'm using the pot filler. The stream is more like a standard faucet and is fine for filling pots and pitchers, handwashing, rinsing veggies, etc. I use the sprayer for rinsing plates/cookware and spraying down the sink. 2. I try to be careful with the sprayer. While I mentioned that I wish the water pressure was a bit stronger, it's actually already much more powerful than a "normal" residential pull-out sprayer. So when I do use it, I make sure the dishes are slanted toward the sink, the sprayer head is pointed to prevent overspray, etc. If it sounds like a huge effort, it's really not; just being mindful of the power of the tool. 3. If you get a pre-rinse faucet, I'd highly recommend considering one with a single-lever mixer. Being able to control temp and pressure simultaneously and one-handed makes a huge difference, and it makes it effortless to lower the pressure to the sprayer to completely eliminate overspray. Honestly, I still end up toweling off the countertop a bit more than before, but it's so worth it.
