No surprise there...She did have an unfair advantage. Her back ground was ice DANCING. I was pulling for Christian, but have a Q.....who is he? A singer, actor or what? It was too bad he had that injury, he might have gone farther in the competition, even though third place isn't bad. Dottie

Kristi was a figure skater, not an ice dancer, but I agreeÂfigure skating involves a lot of dance moves, and certainly her athleticism didn't hurt.

I don't watch the show, but since she is one of my all-time favorite skaters I was glad to hear she won. :-)

There was a blurb on the radio yesterday about DWTS and how the powers behind the show wanted to have a female winner so they handpicked Kristi figuring she would prevail with her skating background...I am not saying that's true, but it does seem more and more that all these reality shows have a plan going in on who is going to win it all.

I love Kristi, and love watching her dance. But secretly I was hoping Jason could pull it off. He is so very elegant and really has a great personality on and off the dance floor. And sheesh - what a really sexy guy!

I kinda had the feeling right from the get-go that she'd win. I definitely think the skating has a lot of things in common with the dancing. I loved Jason & Christian both, and I'm glad they both lasted till the end.

Man--what sayhellonow just said!! When the show first started Kristi wasn't all that limber and acted embarrassed to all the shimmy and shakin'. So I think she came pretty far.

I will miss Jason's face and those pretty eyes!!

Watching the finale reminded me that poor Mario was robbed. He's a much better dancer than the two handsome dudes.

Kristi's advantage doesn't bother me since the prize is just a silly trophy (as opposed to a life-changing recording contract). I loved watching her and I agree with patti43 - she did improve.

Sorry folks, but that was just an act. I've seen her skate in person several times, and when she's not doing serious routines that will be judged for a medal, she does a lot of shimmyin' and shakin' in her fun routines.

Yes, she was good in DWTS, but she's been taking dance lessons since she was four years old; and she started out as a PAIRS skater (and did plenty of pairs routines in the touring shows and in the Exhibitions after each Olympics), so dancing with a partner was not foreign to her.

This season was rigged.

I loved Jason and thought he was incredibly sexy, just like most of the rest of you. But the trophy rightfully belongs to Christian. He was the most improved. He went from cute but clumsy to downright sexy and WAY improved as a dancer!

I was just happy that the two finalists were Mark and Edyetta (sp). I was hoping it wouldn't be Cheryl or Julianne because they have won twice..I wanted to see someone else win.

That Mark is such a fantastic dancer....LOVED his jive
