Old Plaster Pool Draining as I Type

Our gunite/plaster pool has been long overdue for a makeover. Today a pump was installed and the pool is nearly empty. The plaster is in worse shape than I thought. The pool is 17' x 35' and is 3.5 - 9' deep.

Here's the makeover details:

1x1" tiles throughout

Waterline a row of matching 3x3", a row of contrasting 1x1" topped with another row of matching 3x3"

Benches will be trimmed in the contrasting 1x1" tiles.

Tandy 1400 SWCG to replace the ozonator, Nature 2 thingy we used to have.

Pool equipment replumbing (it had more 90 degree corners than you can imagine.

Automatic acid pump

Hayward Ultra Pool Vac

Concrete deck repair and coating (can't afford new deck right now)

Our pump was purchased a year ago and works fine. We have solar heat which is more than enough for Hawaii winters. Diving board is fine and we just don't have the need or climate for a spa. (We use the pool to cool off.) Previous lighting is fine.

Can't wait to have it complete in approximately 9 days!!!
