Are these Shiloh? I like the first one. I don't really like the larger sides on the two other drawers. Just my opinion.

I would like the others if there were a flat drawer face available, rather than the paneled drawer, I agree with kelleg.

I like the Oxford. Unique and with lots of style, but still with simple, clean lines that won't dictate a time period or style if you ever want to adjust the personality of the kitchen without changing cabinets. But that's the kind of style that suits me, but maybe not you...

Did you think about doing one style for the island and one for the perimeter?

The first one is more detailed than I usually like, but it might be what you want to show off the glaze on the cream cabinets? And the style of your inspiration picture supports a detailed door, I think. Is there one just a little simpler than the Savannah?

#1 but it depends what kind of kitchen you are going to put that in. I wouldn't choose it for a tiny kitchen. I'd use #3 for an island if you have one or an accent as rhome suggested.

The Oxford gets my vote.

Maybe you should post the inspiration photo on this thread, too.

I submitted without it, but meant to say I could see the Savannah for the cream perimeter and the square raised for the cherry island if you would consider using 2 styles...So pcjs and I are on the same wavelength.

I forget... what size is your kitchen? I prefer simple design doors so please take my opinion with a grain of salt. The first is busy, and may look more so in a confined space. Do you plan on your base cabs having mostly drawers or doors? That might impact the look some. Either way, I love your choice of colors... it'll come together beautifully with whatever door style you love.

I almost went with Shiloh. Very nice cabinets. The Oxford was my favorite and I think I was looking at those exact colors too. The little extra detail in the Oxford really shows up if you are glazing them. Not too buzy not too plain, very pretty!

Kitchen is 13x15'8-- and eating area is 12'4 by 15'8

We have a lot of drawers and doors-- lots of cabinets!! i can't seem to scan my designs....

but its open with a medium sized island-- a wood hood... glass corner... and lots of storage!

and i believe the cream will be glazed - not sure about the cherry yet-- a bit worried about glazing and having that island get even darker (bc its cherry)

I think I like the savannah best and agree with the idea of using another door front on the island too.
BTW- what is the door style on the material sample picture of the new choices? That looks like it might be a happy medium between plain and fancy.

I vote for Oxford. I really like the lines and its not too ornate.

I like the Oxford too. The Savannah might get too busy with many cabinets and drawer fronts. It's simple and clean with just enough detail. If mixing doors is OK, maybe the Savannah just on the island. You didn't say whether the wood or painted would be your main cabinets.

Generally, I like the Savannah the best, but I do think it might be a little much if there are a lot of cabinets....although, if they're mostly drawers it actually may be OK....

I am just about to place an order for Shiloh - very similar - I liked Soft White with Cafe brushing (it looks like a light glaze) for the perimeter of the kitchen and then an island with Cherry Coffee black glaze. I like the island dark as my floors will be light.

I kept thinking simple for the door style - I like the Essex. Since I'm trying to make the island more decorative, that will be Asherville - which is the same as Essex but with a raised panel.

if you have big dogs with any level of drool, the less detailed cabs are probably easier to clean..........

Also something to think about...what kind of hardware are you thinking of for the drawers? I know that made a different to me--I wanted cup pulls on the drawers and needed to make sure there was enough space to put a pretty sizable cup pull on the small drawers.

(oh, and I think I like the Oxford better...but it's hard to tell because I think I just like the lack of a lot of glazing on that door better...I don't know! The first looks more like an inset door, which is my preference if I had the $$...so maybe #1)

Definitely the Oxford. To me, the simpler the better.

carrieo- PLEASE share pics when you get them!! I am doing a cherry island too-- the creamy cabinet will be the main cabinets....

still need to meet with designer to discuss which doors-- taking a break this weekend as family is coming to visit!
